Eagles think they're playing 4D chess. They're now banking on Baker and Graham coming to Eagles as an endorsement, but the reality is their supporters don't want those players and it's going to have an adverse reaction when they give up an early pick. Freo placed their marker at 10.

I wouldn’t have minded Baker as a player, think he could’ve been an asset, but the price being floated around was ridiculous. If it was fair value around the early 20s I would’ve been upset he chose WC, but I think he’s just saved us from ourselves now.
