That’s just reminded me of how the Cats ALMOST got him for free as an unmatched free agent.
Imagine they didn’t spend the picks on him?!

GWS did the entire comp a favour by matching the bid and making the cats trade for him

Let’s say Richmond somehow get hold of North’s pick 2. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, West Coast will never get a better opportunity to cash out on Harley if they are at all concerned with him wanting out.

I wouldn't pay pick 2 just for Pickett. I'd want something back BUT if it didn't come back would it matter?

I'm only speculating on comments about North willing to split pick 2 and Freo is the likely option. Wouldn't mention it otherwise.
where have you seen 2 get mentioned? North F1 for 10 has been mentioned

Haven’t seen anything about north spitting 2

For what it is worth, Freo now has a very good list. It’s time for you to throw caution to the wind and get the final pieces in place. It doesn’t matter if it’s Bolton, Pickett or others. It’s time for Freo to put up and stop rooting around. Richmond topped up and paid overs for Prestia(pick6), Geelong 3 first rounders for Cameron. Brisbane a top 10 for Daniher. With the competition at the top very even just a little quality add on can make the difference. Good luck.
Negging a club to throw all their picks away and screw themselves, that's a new one.

Freo not having won a premiership in the past is a silly reason to go and pay WAY overs for a player, in fact that's how you shoot yourself in the foot and remain without a premiership. Freo are offering a fair deal and if Richmond don't want it, they can retain a player who doesn't want to be there and who's main impact on field will be the difference between 18th and 16th on the ladder.

PS. All of those deals were reasonably fair trades which were of far less value than what you propose for Bolton. Picks 9 and 16 for Bolton and some change is overs already, if Richmond don't want that then they are only hurting themselves.
