It would make it a lot easier if the clubs were the ones paying the compo, not the AFL despite all the confusion that would bring.Would it make free agency too messy if the compensation picks could be differed to the following season instead?
Yep sounds locked in! I like it, better than playing west coast every February. Just hope we don’t get used as step ladders for 2 hoursI've had a few lunchtime beers, but did I just hear that we'll be playing against an Indigenous Allstars team in 2025?
That’s the trick, Brisbane and potentially GC need someone to carry the junk picks into the draft for them, GC committed to bringing in Rioli and Noble and potentially Dusty. only losing Lucosious so far, plus have reduced list size this year. Richmond losing a few players but likely have 5 first round picks, how many 2nd, 3rd and 4th round picks are they able to carry? Will they have 10 list spots open?

I think he means FOR fremantle?
They'll fix the compo fiasco right around the time we lose a big time free agent you'd think.Thats a trade. It would be a lot easier if the AFL was a normal organisation and didn't give draft compo for Free Agency.
I don't think it'll exactly be finals-like intensity tbfMan, if we have a B22 player do an injury playing a weird marquee game in February I'll cry.
I was just thinking this today!!Am I crazy thinking if any team should take a punt on Brodie, it's Sydney? For free obviously but could he not round out their midfield pretty well?
I think if this Clarry to Geelong stuff happens, Brodie will go to Dees.Am I crazy thinking if any team should take a punt on Brodie, it's Sydney? For free obviously but could he not round out their midfield pretty well?
Who’s he kicking out of there midfield?Am I crazy thinking if any team should take a punt on Brodie, it's Sydney? For free obviously but could he not round out their midfield pretty well?
Injuries can happen anytime. Logically it makes no difference as to when.Man, if we have a B22 player do an injury playing a weird marquee game in February I'll cry.
Similar but not the same. The Afl would determine the compo which would be more token than full value. It was supposed to be free agency for the player. not the club.Thats a trade. It would be a lot easier if the AFL was a normal organisation and didn't give draft compo for Free Agency.
Adams couldn't get a game, Mills replaces Parker.Who’s he kicking out of there midfield?
if hes not breaking into a midfield that finishes 10th he’s not getting into swans midfieldAdams couldn't get a game, Mills replaces Parker.
Brodie. Rowbottom is their Erasmus. They just need a big body to get the ball out to the others and take hits. They can even cover his biggest weakness - time on ground. If you're Sydney, would you prefer Erasmus or Brodie? Both not getting games.
That is an extremely simple take on it.if hes not breaking into a midfield that finishes 10th he’s not getting into swans midfield
I dont know, it's rejigging things. Roos also thinks the balance is wrongWho’s he kicking out of there midfield?
Ok? Why isn’t he getting a game at freo that would get him into a stacked midfield? He’s 5-6 in line at freo he wouldn’t be any closer at Sydney. That is an extremely simple take on it.
