That’s the trick, Brisbane and potentially GC need someone to carry the junk picks into the draft for them, GC committed to bringing in Rioli and Noble and potentially Dusty. only losing Lucosious so far, plus have reduced list size this year. Richmond losing a few players but likely have 5 first round picks, how many 2nd, 3rd and 4th round picks are they able to carry? Will they have 10 list spots open?

New proposal, restricted free agency is extended to the top 50% of the squad but anyone not a restricted free agent can move without any compensation at all.

Similar but not the same. The Afl would determine the compo which would be more token than full value. It was supposed to be free agency for the player. not the club.

Brodie. Rowbottom is their Erasmus. They just need a big body to get the ball out to the others and take hits. They can even cover his biggest weakness - time on ground.

Then each pick is bid on, players cost points not picks, FA compo comes out of your points pool.

Ok? Why isn’t he getting a game at freo that would get him into a stacked midfield? He’s 5-6 in line at freo he wouldn’t be any closer at Sydney.

The knock on Brodie is he’s defensive side of his game. Don’t see how that helps Sydney midfield mix?

People still see will Brodie as the 2022 Brodie. He’s has been average since. I’d be surprised if anyone would take him
