OUT-OF-CONTRACT Fremantle forward Tom Emmett is expected to secure another deal at the Dockers, but will need to wait until after the Trade Period.

I think Brayshaw has been carrying some injuries the last 2 seasons. His 2022 was otherworldly. Him playing niggle free will be massive. Even hindered he's still been very good and played every game.

If I remember right he definitely was for 2023 and he copped a knock early this year that played up until about the bye.

His second half of the season was unreal this year; I thought it was arguably better than 2022 for periods. I thought it was the best footy he's played regarding his contested and clearance work. I think some of that was also that we stopped messing around playing him on a wing or half-forward flank. Round 1 2025 needs to be Darcy, Young, Brayshaw and Serong starting at the bounce, and whenever the game is there to be won, it's those 4.

Yep, said you always get surprises this time of year then mentioned Schultz.

The captain, vice captain and a guy that returned home just last year are probably the biggest signing priorities for next year. Players often move with one year left hence that comment.

It’s happening more and more but there still isn’t that many players with two or more years left requesting trades in the scheme of things.

We’ve re-signed our most important out of contract player just before Christmas the last two years. This will be no different.
