Nah 10 and 18 should be enough. Walk away if they don’t like it and watch them come in last 5 minutes accepting it.

I'd love to be offered an NDA to sign and then given access to the AFL contracts to write an article on what deals players signed to STAY at their clubs and which would have met the higher compensation bands. I think it might be quite interesting to see what sort of discount clubs have received in keeping their free agents compared to those losing them.

UFAs I'm a bit more accepting of compo.

Good. He wouldn't even make our best 22 with Bolton, Switta and Freddy ahead of him as small forwards. Whereas Port play guys like McEntee who are terrible. Makes much more sense for both parties.

Given how much everyone is talking up the quality and evenness of the draft, I think 10+18 is fine.

It makes you wonder if trading for F1s, etc. is more valuable then because they haven't yet been downgraded with such concessions.
