The Swans can't pay all of Gulden, Warner and McDonald - seems like we are trying to force their hand on losing one - maybe 2 if the Swans pursue Jamarra as they did Naughton.

There's really only a handful players I'd take league wide above Gulden (for where our list is at). One is JUH, the other is Finn Calaghan from GWS. I'd pay pick 1 for that guy.

I've been surprised before though.

I would've never thought someone like Lachie Neale would end up in Queensland.

I think Chad Warner's more likely. Plus the Shultz first rounder could be higher than we hought. Potentially much higher if Collingwood cant sor out their forward line. They play the Saints and Brisbane (at home) in the next two weeks. Potentially it could be a very bad start to the season for them. Shultz was terrribe for them tonight.

Gulden OR Warner would make us a significantly better team. McDonald won’t. Suggest go the other way - bid up mcdonald in the hope they dont go hard enough to keep the other two.

I feel like Gulden fills a need more, Warner means one of Fyfe, Young, AB or Serong gets pushed to another role, let alone starving opportunities for Johnson and Ras to get inside minutes. When is Warner ooc?

Warner is out of contract the same time as Fyfe and Brayshaw, end of 2025

Watching McDonald tonight, particularly in the first half, he is tentative about attacking the footy.. a couple of times got caught ball watching when he should have entered the contest.. did get a couple of joe the gooses out the back.. still has work to do.. worked into the game in the second half as the game opened up

McDonald reminds me of Jenkins. Constantly out the back. It's definitely a skill but probably not the one I'd target in a key forward.

I'd give a lot for Warner or Gulden though. Those two will be unstoppable in their peaks.
