Is there any way we can do some sort of a retroactive trade, where we go back in time and trade Taberener instead of Hogan?
Yes. But it's risky.

Although his handball to Jackson was elite, timed it perfectly just for Jackson to get run down. Brilliant banners

That was the one where he didn't put any block on and watched Jackson get run down when he could have just kicked it inside fifty himself?

Tbh I was thinking both these things at the time. It wasn’t a good game by Banfield.

We need to consider if he’s a forward or midfielder. If he’s midfielder I’m quite happy to give his spot to NOD and find another sub. If he’s a forward Walters comes back into the side and we look for a new small forward after the season is over.

If Banfield was replaced by Bolton or Warner I think we win that game.

He fumbled and if he didn't fumble he didn't hand it off clean, except that one to Frederick requiring him to create some agility magic to get onto his right foot.

We currently have no injuries to our smalls, except Walters.

We still have Banfield, O'Meara, Frederick (up until this week has been shit), Johnson, Fyfe (on his last legs) playing

We are only run injury from Banfield back in the team.

We need 3 or 4 good players, to actually push players like that out of the side or having them playing for their spot in the side every week.

The only reason anyone is coming here is for financial reasons, given the history of the club you couldn't come here with a reasonable expectation of having any success.

Don't tell me Baker is only a slight upgrade after watching our leaders choke another close game. He is easily best 22 and would be a very good addition for us

I'm not sure it was a leader choke today, reckon it was our bottom 8 or so

Either way, hes a massive upgrade over them

This. This one is squarely on the bottom 6-10 players rather than the leaders.

If we seriously cut the deadwood then yes.
You could lose Walters, Fyfe, JOM, and Aish, Banfield, not even a ripple would be felt.
Why couldn’t Erasmus play the Mayne role?
Coach doesn’t rate tackles, physicality, and that’s why we lose close
games.

You just watched Banfield for 2 hours and that’s your take away?
I watched Banfield, Fyfe, O'Meara, Johnson for 2 hours in a side with no injuries to smalls.

If we bring in Bolton, we are just one injury from Banfield back in the side.

We need 3 or more players in, so he is not near the 22.

Every AFL player will recognise Fremantle as a rising team.

Cooper Simpson and our two NGAs next year will fill that talent void for 2026.

We have enough in the twos to make that happen already but the coach is shit.

Swap Banfield for Bolton alone and we wine at least a couple of the games we’ve lost

We have a few more talented NGAs in the next 3 to 4 years. One very good small forward and one very strong hbf

Yeah that’s why we’re looking at trading those players in going to the draft isn’t going to help the team next year is it? you seem to be contradicting yourself.

Simpson the only player I rate in the twos, plus Erasmus but only as a inside mid.

Still feel our depth is poor. Especially as we have no injuries to smalls.

Just saying we can't afford to give up a huge hall for Bolton.

We don't have depth

We’re so spose to good enough.

We do not need a heap more kids…

Do Not need more kids.

I would trade for Baker and Bolton, and Warner next year…

These two get rid of two dumb arses and we would now be sitting top 4

Agree to disagree.

We need two small forwards and some class in our midfield, and that is if Sturt signs.

Would take Bolton for pick 7, but can't afford to give up multiple picks for him.
