Have the feeling if those two come in we won’t have any good picks for the next two drafts..

But that at this point doesn’t matter at all. It’s time to win.

Yeah I really don’t care.

We have two NGA’s next year and one the year after who is looking like a gun.

We can go hell for leather

Man. Kozzy and Shai...

Feels like some of that ridiculous old-school Freo talent and fun that we've been sorely lacking for a LONG time. I need it, I want it, I'll cry if we don't get it

So we have 4 firsts and two seconds and a future thirdto make all this happen.

Crash and burn Port, crash and burn baby.

What do we need to be left with for the AFL to tick it off?

Trade firsts but need seconds and thirds
Unless they changed the rules, we can't use the F2 and F3 if we use the F1.

I'd think the coach and senior players would still think they're in contention mode. Petracca's whereabouts and/or replacement will be significant factor in it all.
Raz could be good for them. Don't like it though.

Macrae could be a decent cheap pick up for them if Trac goes. Not perfect, but is something.

Talk that DeGoey could be used as collateral to get Trac

9, 17, future 2 for Bolton and 21?

10 and 21 for Kozzie?
If not use the future first and keep our seconds in both years

Not enough in my opinion. Can't penny pinch on this. I'd give 4 x 1sts (e.g. 9 + Port choke 14 for Bolton, and 10 + F1 for Kozzie) as the base value. And prepared to add even more (e.g. 27, Switta, Erasmus, even Simpson) if required.

Don't worry about penny pinching. The F2/21 would ban us from trading our F1. Get late junk picks from Richmond back and try our best in the 40-60 range of this draft.

If we want Warner, then we have 2026 and 2027 firsts (trading 2 years in advance comes in next year) and possibly capital from trading Cox/Darcy (if we need to move someone for salary cap space).

Had a field day against your mob rnd 10!! :tearsofjoy: :tearsofjoy:
Dude, this thread has gone mental this last 12 hours, and you manage to find a post on Bonner?

Don't know if we should be impressed or creeped out.

One flaw with this is we must use one of our firsts this year.

For Bolton and Kozzie, id trade 9,10, & 26 and a future 2nd.

We will need to use 17.
Getting these two will make getting Warner in 2025 hard.
Nah, we're ok to sell it all this year and next.

We get these 2, and warner can wait for free agency. But I still think with future trading we could bring a few picks forward.

The AFL can grant you an exemption.

We will be fine.

Ok who are these NGA’s you speak of!
2025 - Whan (182cm HBF), Hart (185cm HFF). Futbolista has them #4 (Whan) and #19 (Hart) on his WA depth chart. This could change, but if it holds then that's maybe a top 20-30 range for Whan, while Hart would be passed over and a Cat B rookie list candidate.

2026 - Robinson - tall inside mid beast, WA MVP, runner up MVP in U/16 national champs, top 5 candidate nationally at this stage, but rankings this far out usually change a lot.

There's also a McManus F/S next year, but he is a fair way down Futbolista's list and would need to come from the clouds next year to be draftable.
