I think Trac is ahead of Clarry even before his issues
Yeah that's the problem.
I'm not smart enough to work out BE's but I suspect if Bont goes sub 100 2 or 3 times early in the year he'll be low $600k's. That's not impossible.
He dropped from $725k to $650k last year with the below run. And the magic number is higher in the early rounds. If you start him he's got to go 130+ to retain his price and make it hard/impossible for others to get him.

Wise words Rat.last year he started at $639.5k - only had one score under 100 which was an 89 in Rd 3 - low price was $610.5k after rd 4 then after rd 8 he was $725.2k and didn't drop below $650k after that.
magic number dropping off over the first half of the season means most high price players will be cheaper at some stage.
good luck being ready to bring him in when and if he drops to a low enough price
Yeah I went and had a look at that.Last time Bont went sub 100 two weeks in a row was R9 2020.
I think if your mindset is to skip round 0 Ubers and chase ruck value Bont just keeps ending up at M1, for me anyway.Yeah I went and had a look at that.
I'm not arguing against him. If I skip Daicos and English he's a must-have.
Yes, that price isn't quite so bad when you factor in he plays an extra game compared to Oliver, Petracca, etc.I think if your mindset is to skip round 0 Ubers and chase ruck value Bont just keeps ending up at M1, for me anyway.
Not that it means much but he's really the only one I can clearly justify too.Yes, that price isn't quite so bad when you factor in he plays an extra game compared to the Oliver, Petracca, etc.
Daicos is the only one I'm seriously considering of the R0 ubers.
Same here with Naicos. But skipping Bont over him worries me tbhYes, that price isn't quite so bad when you factor in he plays an extra game compared to Oliver, Petracca, etc.

There is a picker, mate.I'm waiting for SC to open to see if my SC abacus can fit in the players I want esp in the guts .
wtf is Rd 0?There is a picker, mate.
Google sheet, so nothing special, but should allow you to scratch the itch.
Think Wayne placed it in the 2024 help thread (not sure of exact name).
Should open up around Aussie Day, I guess, tho, so not long to wait either way
(especially since there is * all point in shooting your bolt early given Rd 0 will change everything anyway lol.)
Isn't that what they are calling it, mate?wtf is Rd 0?
Scoops all over it like a seagull at the tip!Test Tickle Opening Round, mate.
Back to Journalism 101 for Scoops. 100 100's wouldn't go astray, couldn't argue with a Strempeling tbh.

Think Windy is a key to getting Naicos at the best price this year, is he likely to get the job on him?Same here with Naicos. But skipping Bont over him worries me tbh
Hoping for a slow start it's.............tricky....Think Windy is a key to getting Naicos at the best price this year, is he likely to get the job on him?
Hoping little Nicky gets Windhagered in round 2 , Finngered in round 4 , bye in round 5 then pick him up round 6.
Roll the dice on a slow start for him.
He has Port in round 6, Drew tagged him last year.Think Windy is a key to getting Naicos at the best price this year, is he likely to get the job on him?

I'd be amazed if teams don't target him this year
Good point. I think he will improve & be too good for it personally unless it’s a pure stopper like Finn IMOHe has Port in round 6, Drew tagged him last year.

****ing hate it I want to start Green/GuldenSo technically it's O Round, not Round 0.
Either way, it's a ******* stupid idea.
Same price. 10 points difference will take 10 rounds to cover the early bye. And you’re likely to end up with both after that time anyway. If I think Green will go 120+ & Serong 110+ should I back Green in ignoring the byes?
It's hard to justify. Green will miss 2 games before Serong misses his 1st one. Hypothetically, if Serong averages 110 across his first 12 games he will score 1320 points. Assuming the rookie that replaces Green scores 60 in the 2 games he misses, Green will need to average 120 across his 10 games for that decision to break even (120 x 10) + (60 x 2) = 1320 points. If I think Green will go 120+ & Serong 110+ should I back Green in ignoring the byes?
I’m in the same boat. Have Serong but want Green. ##### the 0 round! Green would be a nice POD.If I think Green will go 120+ & Serong 110+ should I back Green in ignoring the byes?
