I took a big risk earlier in the year - had a bench player with a great score and wanted to loop him in, so I decided to trade in a donut. I picked Joel Freijah. He was looking a class above in the VFL and I figured he was probably close to a debut. Then he debuted the next week, has played every game since, earned 175k, averaging 67, and his breakeven is still 20. Best stupid decision I've made all year.
