So even with reef now being trialed as a defender, still think we will take another kpd and a kpf. The last pick willl either be mid or a small fwd.

With these mids on expiring contracts -
Mitchell
Mcrae
Pendles
Sidebottom
Sullivan
Long

and the uncertainty around jordys health, I strongly feel we should draft another mid.
Agreed and I want Kennedy to take that spot

This is where I feel we really should just payout AJ and take the extra draft pick.

It gives us the option to take 2 kpp , and a combination of either 2 mids with different skill sets (ie one inside mid, the other mid/fwd) or a mid and a small fwd.

and All most likely be better then AJ

I need a pick in the 20s!
I’d have the same attitude if we hadn’t been able to land a dual AA player instead.
I reckon our cat B(s) will make up for it too. Parker will be a gun and Condon will be pies bound.

Calsher Dear was father/son - He wasn't in the open draft so you can't really consider him to be a late draft pick.
Rubbish, every club had the opportunity to bid on him far earlier, of course he should be considered a late pick, just as Josh should be for us.

Could not pass up Houston espically in our Win Now Mode we are in at the Moment

Would be nice, but we are only have the hand we are dealt. Just have to believe we can nab some good players at the picks we have either way

We done well with late picks in the Past under Hine

I'm one of the few that believe a medium forward like Davidson is a much better bet than a speculative KF. There's a few good ones this year and the role is becoming very important if you can get a good one. Davidson makes sense to me
I read somewhere that we are one of the few clubs he hasn't met with, so seems unlikely.

Not Someone I would take with our 1st Pick but as I have said IF we go KPP 1st Pick he might be someone we look at last 2 Picks

So basically a Tall Mid

He or Polkinghorn would play the role that JDG initially had

If they're significantly better than any KPP, and available, then take one
KPP after that

I'd say there would be multiple KPP rated higher that is a chance to be available ((Nicholls, West, Stumpf) than Polkinghorne, who is more viewed very late /rookie.
