North Melbourne also looms as a significant first-round trade story. With the Kangaroos set to take Oakleigh Chargers star Finn O’Sullivan with Pick 2, they’re eyeing a move back into the first round in the hope of securing a key-position player.
The clubs considered most likely to trade with North are Sydney (Picks 19 and 22) and Richmond (18, 20 and 23), who combined hold five of the final six selections in the first round.

My all-time favourite player is the expected Guernsey presenter for us tonight.

Yes, I'm that old, I didn't get to see him often as living in Canberra, the North games were only televised 4 or 5 times a year, but he was great to watch. The guy could literally walk on water.

What a player. Magnificent to watch. Looked like his stride was about twice as long as every one else when he ran. Unbelievable balance -always on his feet and a good leap as well. The complete footballer.

I don't think we'll get a trade offer for 2 that's what we want, so we'll have to move future picks.
Two key points I think are when we're on the clock at 2. Then when the Kako bid comes, do we trade them our F2?
If we do that then we likely can't move the F1 without getting back a F2.

I suppose other clubs have to also weigh whether our future first will be a top 5 pick next yr. Would be great to trade out future first for a rd 1 pick this yr and then we have an unexpected rebound up the ladder.

Feel like WCE should definitely be hanging onto their f1st (Same could be said for us I suppose but we have been stacking high picks for a long time). Seems like a great opportunity for clubs with picks in the teens to gamble, kind of wish we could get involved in WCE future first.
