Do you think you guys trade pick 2? Who with if you do?

Why wouldn’t you go for Jagga Smith? Would be an insane midfield.
We need tall and small forwards.
Kpfs take about 3years to mature at which stage ldu is 29 if we get one this year.
30 if next year.
Tick tock.
Trade and fa is not an option for us.

Think I’m the only blues fan that likes FOS. They’re all obsessed in Draper or Lalor.
All different players, Finn is a two way runner, goes forward and goes back to help the defence and at his best is such a classy player, Sid, burst player with electrifying turn of pace and can break open a game, Sam, a matchwinner, a few pre seasons and getting fitter, getting that endurance up to speed, he literally could be anything, I don't think people understand how good these top six midfielders are or more to a point, how good they are going to be.

I love Sam, wow, what he can bring to the table is mind blowing, the same with Finn, going to be a gun, Sid is such an excitement machine its not funny, his pace and run is so good when he's on. But finally the time has come for us to take a key forward, not a second round pick, not a third round pick but a first round pick, pick one of the best talents going around and I believe we have to and we will pick one of these three players although right now we still don't know what final picks we will end up with.

1/ Harry Armstrong
2/ Alix Tauru
3/ Jack Whitlock

If the AFL National Draft were a horse race, it would not only be a "group one" and "set weights" but would be the number two pinnacle in our sport, behind the "grand final". As in horse racing and I know just under five weeks to go and picks will fly everywhere and teams will move up to grab a certain player who they thought might be gone or think a few other teams are going to take the player in question but I've got a feeling the "Late mail" will be Harvey Langford & Alix Tauru.

The guy is Will Thursfield, looking at Alix Tauru & Harry Armstrong, marvelling at the talent, the woman is Jason Taylor, Melbourne's head recruiter, last night.....

If we swap 2 for Richmond’s 6 and 18, I suspect we could get Tauru and Whitlock.

Ok. We will see I guess. I reckon they are after mids. That’s my mail, but not a solid ItK, someone pretty involved. Clubs keep their cards pretty close to their chest though. Lots of false rubbish around to mix things up.

Nothing’s guaranteed of course when it comes to drafting players but this came from the horses mouth. He did say he’s not sure where he’ll end up but is expecting to go early and is willing to go interstate.

Have heard similar and mentioned this earlier in the thread. Richmond also keen apparently

Funnily enough I've heard the exact opposite (not Richmond, no idea about them).

Already set to hold one of the greatest draft hands in AFL history, Richmond is weighing up a bid to snare North Melbourne’s No. 2 pick after landing a trade bounty for Shai Bolton.

Heavy demand in recent days to see more of Finn O'Sullivan during his relatively injury free bottom age campaign. Here we see him leading his Chargers to a big win in the first round of last years Talent League finals. He cracks in hard at stoppage, winning a lot of footy and laying tackles. He shows his ability to dodge and weave around tacklers, and the audacity to take on the play with calculated risks to break lines.

It takes until his very last kick for him to hit a target by foot

Yes, look we could, but I think we could do a little better than that, there are a few scenarios in play, the opposing clubs agenda, how bad do they want that elite midfielder? There will be offers for our pick 2, Brady has said it would need to be good and we can if need be trade in our future first to get the player we are after as well so unlike West Coast we will not be doing anything stupid, we have options.

If our first two picks in the national draft are Alix Tauru and Jack Whitlock as much as I love the potential of Harry Armstrong, that without the other picks would be an "A" in my opinion, and there are a few other tall's that I would love to get. Like Souup has said with the small forwards, I think with list spots have never been so important and valuable, I would love two small forwards, I would love two key forwards or one key forward and a key forward/ ruck as in Kayle Gerreyn so at the moment its a watch the footy news to find out how many more we will delist, what picks we END UP HAVING and see by the end of today what happens with Caleb and Luke.

I think Luke gets done, the swans new list boss trying to make a name for himself, in the end he will relent, not too sure with Caleb, I would like him but certainly not for pick 25 but as we've seen with this crazy trade period, strange things and I mean strange things are happening!
