That assumes Richmond don't. If I watched the Grand Final and didn't see a reason to do Brisbane any favours I'd be pretty happy to throw his name out first up.

I reckon Tigers won't, they did that deal with Brisbane on day 1 or 2 to ensure it

We will trade out of 2 with the Tigers. Would be shocked if we dont at this point. Closer to the draft though. Tigers unlikely to take 8 players in the draft and having trouble deciding between FOS and Lalor, could od both. We get 6 and one of the 11 or 18. I dont see us trading back from 2 without 6 being apart of it

6 and 11 is palpable, 18 is too far away. Be funny if Tigers do it too, with the Blues moving up to 3 to target FOS.

For shits and giggles, nobody should bid on Kako in the first round. Make them piss their pants over trading out of a top 10 pick for no reason.

I would usually agree but if we are as keen on Tarau and he will be available at 6 then not trading is pointless if we take him at 2.

Agree hense trading back. Would love Langford at 2 personally but for list build think Tarau and Armstrong/Berry fits our build alot better

I really don't think it is. I think the West Coast trade in 2022 is the best comparison which was:

WEST COAST
Trade out: Junior Rioli, picks No.2, 40
Trade in: Picks No.8, 12, 2023 second-round pick (tied to Port Adelaide), 2023 third-round pick (tied to Port Adelaide)

The way I see it:
8 + 12 = Pick 2
Rioli + 40 = '23 second rounder + '23 third rounder

West Coast made that trade in a draft that had a clearer top 5/6, which they were trading out of. The appeal of this year's draft is that there are no clear top-end prospects. You could make an argument for about 15 different guys being top 5 picks, which was certainly not the case in 2022.

Very raw but was impressive in the Champs final, showed a fair bit, kicking efficiency needs some work though.

If he can get that efficiency up he’s a bullet 60-65 metre pass and can legitimately kick goals in the regular from inside the centre square.
Hails from my son’s club Hillside and I watched him win the 16s and 18s premierships in the same year before he moved to Keilor.
The noise he makes when he flushes that footy is incredible .
