I still can't get my head around the fact that some view swaping our F1 for someone like Trainor as if it were a win for us.

Shanahan is a beauty.

If we split pick 2 then Viking and Shanahan should be the targets, or Gerreyn if Shanahan is gone

I would use future first to get Berry or Lindsay.

But there isn't a market for it. We would be selling at a heavily discounted rate. Heaps of teams want to trade in, but nobody is looking to trade out of this year's draft.

GWS have six spots free on their main list and two on their rookie list. They aren't trading out, though maybe up.

Richmond don't need to trade out either, they have eight free spots. If they trade out, it would likely be as live trades as they could get a better return.

Tigers reportedly signing Thomson Dow so they'll only have 7 spots, but I suspect they'll trade one of 18/20/23/24 for another team's F1 like Bombres who have their own and Dees F1 and need to get back in.

Nup, Jack and Matt both go harder at the contest than those two do. They both tested just as well at the combine too.

Smith or Draper means that as soon at 2025, Kerch and Sheeze could be just running amok, doing as they please.

Smith especially just looks like a flat out gun who does most things very well. Draper seems even more dynamic. Both have impeccable leadership credentials too.

We can’t go wrong with either.

The only issue is that with Smith, we play into us pouring even more investment in the guts and hamstring our versatility.

I would be confident of both learning wing or HB for the first 2-3 seasons.

Even if we keep 2 I’m sure we’ll trade to get at least a late first rounder which may get Trainor. I notice the Bigfooty Phantom draft has him going at 26, I doubt that happens but you never know. The only thing that phantom draft has shown is that nobody knows anything.
