We delisted Lazz, Greenwood, Shiels, Stephenson ect. That’s a fair bit of midfield depth removed.

Adding a genuine centre square mid for depth isn’t a bad thing. Especially when FOS can play a variety of roles.

Agreed mate. I rate Urquhart. Rare speed, endurance, power blend. Tackles hard, can kick a goal. Really lifted WA in the champs.

We did add Luke Parker and Caleb Daniel though..

I like Urquhart, always felt he was underrated through the year.

Getting his skills up to scratch the focus. He’s got the athletic size and game style of a top pick.

Anyone knows about this kid for our #54

#31

Bailey McKenzie

height: 192cm
weight:
D.O.B: 10-03-2006
Leagues: AFL U18 Championships, Coates Talent League Boys
STRENGTHS:
  • Aerial ability
  • Agility
  • Scoreboard impact
  • Upside
IMPROVEMENTS:
  • Consistency
  • Work rate
Sandringham Dragons premiership player Bailey McKenzie produced a couple of the standout performances of this year's Coates Talent League season. He broke out with 23 disposals, 13 marks and seven goals in Round 5, before establishing his credentials with six majors from 20 touches and 11 marks in the preliminary final.
A dynamic 192cm forward, McKenzie is quite rangy and excels aerially. His mobility is handy when leading at the kicker, though he also has the ability to take speccies or improvise one-handed marks. Either way, his pronounced flair and nimble nature points to high upside, particularly given his mercurial ability in front of goal.
While he showed an ability and willingness to work up the ground late in the season, that kind of work rate was not as evident when McKenzie was camped inside 50 earlier in the year and with Vic Metro. Using his athletic gifts up the ground will be important, to compliment his inside 50 craft. He could also become more consistent from quarter to quarter and with his finishing.
DRAFT RANGE: 40-60
I’m on delay. So this is useless. Another mate of my son’s. Gun kid and can really play. He’s had games where he’s had 10 shots at goal. Just gets the ball. Prob not right for us. Similar to Durs but not same level. Really gets the ball a lot though. Can play.
