Remember also - he was named All-Australian Captain so brings some leadership potential. Always a good thing.
I've had Draper as my number 1 since I started following this thing, and he seems to have great leadership qualities too.

Bloody hard to split hairs like this!

Someone made a comment about having two players in Walsh and Jagga that can compete inside/outside all day and I just feel that's the best team balance.

But bloody hell do I wish a could see Draper dishing out to a running Walsh or Cerra one minute, and then blazing out of another stoppage a few minutes later where he's so damn fast the opposition get wind burn.

Either way we improve our forward transition, and both have a strong defensive ethic.
Gonna be an interesting 2025!

Without further adieu, brought to you by the guy who said Caleb Serong will never make it as a mid at AFL level and that Dylan Stephens would be a top 3 player in his class: The ABigOlDoofus Draft Tier List. Made mostly so I can look back on it and laugh.

TIER 1:
Langford
Smith
Draper
Ashcroft

TIER 2:
Lalor
Lombard
Reid
Smillie
Travaglia
Berry
Kako

TIER 3:
FOS
Allan
Armstrong
Tauru
Hotton
Trainor

The rest I either haven't seen enough of or don't rate very highly.

Don't feel too much like a doofus Big Ol, i also count having Serong closer to 20 than 5 as one of my biggest mistakes...well, along with Collier-Dawkins at 7 in the 2018 Superdraft lol.

Serong fast became one of my faves in the AFL as i watched him to see how right i was...but saw how wrong i was.

Like Matt Crouch?
Surely you jest..
Crouch is a slow ,get it then give off as he gets tackled accumulator
Young Jagga is quick, evasive , get it , give off or hit someone then quickly become another option gun
Nothing alike..
We need speed in body and speed in delivery
Jagga has both in spades
I’m not comparing them as players just purely his ball use to Matt Crouch, Jagga has terrific clean hands and outstanding work ethic and will be a quality player however similar to Crouch I see lots of sideways crab like kicks, lots of dinky little kicks that go nowhere and not a lot of penetration with his kicking he rarely kicks longer than 30 meters.

I gave the example of the 50 possession game where he had a clear advantage over the other players on the field due to his outstanding work ethic but he had only 4 inside 50s out of those 50 possessions, that to me is a lot of possessions for not a lot of reward.

If we we’re talking pick 10 I would love Jagga but for the large investment of pick 3 I personally would rather a point of difference midfielder such as Langford with his ability in a contest and marking or Draper with his speed, aggression and ability to take the game forwards with his run not sideways and backwards as jagga tends to do.
