Do we know of anyone struggling with injury? Good to see guys like Foster, Clark, Willis, etc out there. Seems like we've got a pretty healthy squad.
Willis looks a different person from the video above. No inhibition

In the video too Clark seems uninhibited. Foster is out there playing forward it seems which surprised me.

I think Rohan and Blitz are the only ones recovering

Blitz out there in the early drills so can't be too far behind.

How often would Conway, Clark and Willis have trained all together?

Come to think about it, the more I read about Steven King, and view highlights, he is a candidate for being one of our most underrated players in history

There was always a group of players I hoped would win a flag with us, especially after watching us lose GFs in the 90s then become a bit poo in the late 90s/2000s, and that was Graham, Riccardi, McGrath and King. Both were big for the club when we weren't really very good, and both were massive in that 04 season. Sucks that Graham left end of the 04 season but the worst thing about the 07 flag was that Riccardi retired end of 06.

I think people forget how good King was for a very long time and how valuable his captaincy was.

Oscar Allen and JUH Please !
JUH would be enough
I remember watching Nathan Ablett live in his second year playing in the twos, he looked every bit a future star. Agree with Warhorse sometimes it is moments early on, and even though this was a twos game, everyone could see the ability on show.
I think he had the potential to be the best player ever.

Stephen King was named AA ruck before he turned 22. Conway this season will be less than 6 months younger than King was in his AA season. King had already played 63 games over 4 seasons before his AA season including 13 games as a 17 year old in 1996.

Gotta think flogging him from such a young age must have contributed to his later injury issues. He actually missed less footy than I remembered but only played 20+ games once between 2001 and his last season with us in 2007.

Steven King whacking blokes with a stick will be hard to stop though.
I'm prepared to volunteer my time and take over whacking-blokes-with-a-stick duties in order to free up assistant coaches for other work.

Rohan has been patchy in terms of being on the track

as have Stanley. Blitz is now back

the only other person not training fully is Bruhn but it is minor issue and will be back next week

so best availability in years for pre season

This footage will hopefully be Exhibit A in the AFLCA's ambit claim for more money to be released back into the system to augment coaching panels. Clearly the current staff are overworked and have far too much to do.

:D

This 07 highlights package is tantalising.
Note the ability to not run into a player but rather somersault over the top- hardly got a mention, but was there when he did that- could not believe what he did til we saw the replay

Certainly the biggest regret I have as a Cats supporter is that we did not see the full evolution of Nathan Ablett as a footballer. We respect that he had more important issues. It was about now, preseason 2008, that he shocked us all with his retirement. Utterly convinced that had his natural progress continued, we would have won 5 in 5.
