I remember telling my friends that when he was back he will be unstoppable, I didn’t think it would be to this degree though

If he can manage to go B2B2B Coleman’s that puts him well and truly in the same frame as your Buddy Franklin, Matty Lloyd type forwards

He’s incredible, we are so lucky to have him

If you drink and drive your a bloody idiot.

:p

Just watching the replay on trip back from Brissie. Just a few random comments...
Love the look of the kit. Great colours, great cause.
Listening with volume (not my normal thing), BT, Brayshaw and Richo - awful. Never again...
Weitering- what a rock, what a star. So good.

100%. They might only be little things, but I have loved the 2024 clash strip, the Sir Doug Nicholls Round strip, and now the Carlton Respects strip - they look fabulous, and I am proud of what we do. I think it just goes to show what can be achieved with a little bit of consideration, and some input from people who actually know what they're doing. It could be argued that the clash strip is not a huge variation on previous themes, but the navy-blue epaulettes and trim really do make it look much better.

Far be it from me to make light of Carlton Respects (which is a cause very close to my heart, and I couldn't be prouder of the Club's stance), and I do understand the historical significance of the orange caps and knickerbockers in the Club's formative years... but I also think the orange is a nice little nod to our feeder club...

Joined here in May 2008 as chelseacarlton, changed my moniker to carltonchelsea a cupla years ago, put the love of my life mum into respite yesterday and celebrate my daughters 13th birthday party tonight with a little cc disco party.
I got half way through the 2nd quarter replay before little miss lost her mind that I wasn’t prepared for her party at 9:30am this morning, I’ve since transformed my place into a wonderland of awesomenessment for 13 year old girls!
Life is ****ing brilliant, there’s no better show than family, but Carlton putting on a masterpiece of pressure goal kicking and opposition stonewalling comes a second close!
Live well folks, there ain’t much time and our time could be nigh, enjoy the ride, ya never know unless ya go!
Love you folks, just thought I’d add to the glorious thread that this already is!
My mumma was involved in the club through the 80’s and 90’s, I’d love for her to see the glory days one last time, last night felt like a road we older folks have dreamed of!
Peace brother and sister baggers!
Look after each other!♥️🥂

I've enjoyed the progression on the bigfooty board.
We're starting to see the worth in players like Fogarty, Cincotta, Cowan, Owies.... Guys that are playing a role in the Carlton team. You're often only as good as your bottom six players.
At the moment our "bottom" six players are playing their role to perfection in many regards.

The development of our game from a stoppage team, to a turnover/pressure based team is great.
I've been enjoy the "message" coming out of Voss and the players compared to the "green shoots" days.

I feel like due to injuries - TDK solo ruck, Cincotta midfield, Cowan in the defensive unit, our coaches have made some great moves with players in clearly defined roles with some flexibility.
Williams looking completely lost in the defensive unit but having the vision to switch him forward has turned his season around.
Cincotta is massive, the ability to defend midfielders trying to break a tag in the forward line is huge. Now he is starting to add goal kicking to his kit bag, it adds another string to his bow. One of the areas we needed to improve is our avenue to goal and the last 5 weeks have been amazing. We really need the midfield unit to increase their goal kicking ability.

I remember when we drafted Cowan, an opposition scout told me that they were looking at drafting him and he was rated on their board. Cowan long term has midfield or damaging half back potential.

Harry's work rate in the offseason to develop a kicking routine and that Brisbane game was the perfect launching pad and to me, almost symbolises Carlton as a team, work on your weaknesses and make them a strength.

Owies and Charlie are two guys that ignite the fans and I'm sure their teammates enjoy their passion.
Cripps and Walsh are true professionals on and off the field. You can tell this year Cripps looks explosive and less hindered than in previous years, hopefully Russell and his team have done a great job in the offseason.

Initially I was annoyed at the 10 or so week block of games, but in hindsight, it has helped shape our team. The team looks very settled at the moment, but we have to make sure we're not June champions and we hit the peak in September.

If it was not for a recent bye, I would not mind a few players have a rest game just to break up the season and keep them fresh. Protect the likes of TDK and give our midfield unit exposure to a pure Pitto styled midfield structure, just in case there is a late season injury. Even a forward line without a Charlie/Harry.

One thing we are getting better at is stopping teams getting runs of goals.

Against Port we bounced straight back with a goal the majority of times they got goals, then kill it in the last. Against Essendon they barely strung 2 goals together all night, and again we just kill it in the 4th quarter.

Cats last night, we didn't capitalise on opportunity in the 3rd then Geelong kick 3 in a row and there's a chance they could keep going in the 4th.

Nope. We just ping another 4 in a row quick in the 4th. They even get 2 back and it's 6 goals with 10+ minutes left with some potential to get dicey... then it's Ollie Hollands straight back and the game is killed stone dead.

Anyone else noticing how valuable E Hollands is as he brings calmness to a chaotic situation. We still have a bit of panic/chaotic moments as a side going fwd, then the ball gets to E Hollands and despite not being incredibly quick, he just calms everything down and picks the very best of options.

It's a quality we so need as we have players who can find the pill but panic dispose of the ball. For Hollands it isnt so much about the number of possessions but more about 'how he uses those possessions' to correct the chaos.

His is incredibly focused and cool as a cucumber, what a great pick up he is
