These games are such a big reminder of how far we’ve come as a team.

This game was never on our terms, not to mention Fremantle arguably got the rub of the green yet we still found a way. This team is tough!
Freo were given the winning numbers to a super lotto jackpot and still ****ed the numbers up!

If only we had paddy Dow to help with the clearances..
Seriously tho, absolutely smashed in clearance. What did we learn and how do we correct it?
Not sure Carroll the answer
Edit (forgot we had Walsh to come in 💙)

Great game. Maybe not the highlight reel but geez that was hard and tough.

Freo smashed us in the middle.

Geez Elijah looks sore.

This is where injuries to Doc, Walsh, Cunners and now E Hollands hurts.

All the heavy lifting left to too few - mainly Cripps/Cerra/Hewett. Relying on Fog and Carroll to play pretty big roles now.
Also Kennedy but with Martin (and JSOS) injured we need him as a third tall forward hybrid.

Walsh back will be a huge boost.

Never in doubt!

Haha we stole that. Take the 4p and run back to Ikon.

But seriously, absolutely rich by them whinging at the death after the free ride they had all game. Had the rub for the whole day. They lost it by failing to capitalise via their stupid Ross Lyonesq game plan. We never had a path to win but hung in and did what good teams do.

Stoked. This team is our bunny. I hope Pearce has nightmares about Aish's hair touching the ball.

Had 1 or 2 suspect moments, but I thought that was Kemp's best game for the club

His body work off the ball, holding his opponent out of a marking contest and or allowing a teammate to intercept was amazing

The drag in was bad. But otherwise he was very good. Very solid.

The Fremantle player didn’t like the idea of Cottrell kicking another winning goal in his career, after he did it against Sydney, so he thought time to abuse the umpire.

Sam Walsh is exactly who this team needs!
Loss of Cunners too which is underated imo.

Watched replays of all our games and he was better than I thought on first viewing...he's different to our other mids, he's a classy one touch player and a good runner that adds to our link up plays.

Too much currently left to our core mids and arguably too much responsibility on Fog and Carroll.

Well, well, well. If it isn't the consequences of Fremantle's actions.

I do hope we start punishing teams and putting our foot on their throat going forward because I'm sick of the umpire argument made by oppo supporters.

We’d have to go back to being a bad team for oppo supporters not to attach us to the umpire darlings tag. It happens with all good teams. Collingwood, Richmond, Hawthorn, Geelong. Now it’s our turn.

That was me !! Whipped around tidied up, had the dog running around with a footy…

You will see that again and again... clubs will try and wrestle and stifle us. But we will keep coming.

It's a sign that we're good I suppose. Happened to Collingwood last year. Teams know their good and play their GF against them, but you still find a way to win. That's the most impressive bit for me in an otherwise disappointing day. We were down but never near out. Love this character.
