Merrett and Heeney the only two midfielders picked ahead of Daicos now, who is on equal footing with Rowell and Serong, and ahead of Cripps, Green and Yeo.

Agree on the mids, not sure I would have have Daicos right in the mix at this stage of the year. Lots to play out though and the premier usually starts slowly.

He's not there yet, but Warner is showing some ominous signs. Putting in the defensive work after a slow/arguably selfish start to the season, and his offensive game is benefiting from that. Could feasibly have all of Heeney, Gulden and Warner in the side by the end of the year.

Still a long way to go of course, and the competition is fierce.
