Was the wine good? It's a considered stance.
I went away for a weekend at a Heathcote winery ostensibly to workshop official positions on certain clubs
A clear position was reached on Carlton
And we all know how that ended. They haven’t been this unstoppable since 2014.
It'll be 2016 2.0 with Carlton being Victoria's adopted team
I don’t think there’s another club we could play that we’d be considered the preferred winner.
You would be against us, but I imagine everyone else in Victoria would nope out at the prospect of having to choose.I don’t think there’s another club we could play that we’d be considered the preferred winner.
All of this true and a form drop off in most part is inevitable at some stage. I take heart though at the fact the clear best team in it last year lost form 4 weeks out from finals and went on to win the flag playing their best in September. We are clearly along way from the GF but I will back the best of what we have served up so far to be good enough to win it even if it is lost for a few weeks. That quality can be found again fairly quickly barring injuries."It's hard seeing anyone but Sydney win it"
Yes at this stage Sydney are the clear stand out but apart from them it's the closest season in a long time. One of many teams could find form and go on a run, Sydney could lose form easily, etc.
Syd vs any particular team = clear favouritismSydney have the biggest gap on the other contenders I've seen at this time of year for a long time.
Carlton are the next best chance but honestly Sydney would have to do an epic choke to lose to them in the grand final.
GWS if they get their groove back scare me more than anyone tbh .Syd vs any particular team = clear favouritism
Syd vs the field though, they're not quite there yet
Lots of things could happen. If GWS finished 4th for example, could see GWS upsetting them and see Syd needing to win away prelim and GF which is tough.
I think we are all injured out thanks.I'll be surprised at anything other, barring major injuries, than a Collingwood-Sydney GF.
It is Tuesday, why are you not in class?I think we can rule Pies out now based on that performance against the Dees.
Had to injure a player from a team outside the 8 to win the game.
Carlton plays five home games there and only one more at Marvel. They’re both your home ground.

Yeah I have Brissy as my number four seed. GWS, Fremantle and Geelong next back.I know they've been off the boil a bit this year but I'd still be frightened of coming up against Brisbane come finals if they can scrape in. On their day they still have some serious weapons up forward and in the middle.
Their run home is rather tough though, will need to use a lot of petrol tickets just to scrape in. Hoping they don't for Carlton's sake but I do have them as a wildcard threat.Yeah I have Brissy as my number four seed. GWS, Fremantle and Geelong next back.
Indeed. This year's competition is shaping up to be one of the most unpredictable in recent memory, with Sydney boasting a strong position as favorites. However, a cluster of 10-12 teams lurks below, each possessing the ability to topple their opponents on any given day and threaten the top 8 spots.
Fadge has his own definition of contention, that is teams he thinks can win.well then, lets all talk about which teams are in contention for contention then - btw that is just simplification for you right there fudgey.
