Those 3 aren't really his competition though are they? Didn't he come in for Elliot?
Yeah, Pendles and Mitchell not directly relevant to him, DeGoey to a point.
Mire just that week regain them, Mihocek etc. and there stress only 22 spots to go around.
Elliot out a while helps him a fair bit because on exposed form he's ahead of most of the other new players

Reef McInnes is back this week as well.

We'll see how it plays out I guess. He might be worth holding over other rookies though. As you say he played better than some of these other young players that have surfaced for Collingwood recently.

There are a few arguments to hold and the same to trade him out. For me next week there should be at least one of the $102k rookies to trade him down to which makes $110k and allows me to get Gull Ryan. He might not even come back into the team this year and if you hold come Round 17-19 there is No playing rookies to trade down to. I think cash in while we can still make some money and get someone who is playing.

Yeah that's definitely an option.

I'm looking at him and Jhye Clark as a way to a 23rd premo. Richards only needs 2 more games and he'll be close to $300k. Then trade him down to a $102k DPP donut if needed. Never hurts to have playing rookies late in the season, even if you can't use their money.

Competing position though?

Probably not. 😊

(Sorry, I had it in my mind that because he's classified as a F that's where he played).

Cummings only a week away though.

Also, having just looked at the GWS injury list, I'm amazed to see Pruess is out indefinitely with a hamstring.
Crazy for such a durable guy.

Yeah, problem is always when you're out and someone playa in your spot and goes OK, do they bring you straight back in?
With the established blokes that's a lot easier to predict.
But talent- nd impact-wise, even of their roles are not identical, Joe has Reef, HH, Fin Macrae, Sullivan, Parker and Allan all covered.
Tricky one,if I owned him (Scoops going full OJ Simpson there lol(, inclination would be to hold if I didn't desperately need to access his moolah.
But as a proud Biggie Nyuon owner, it's tough for me to relate to you little people, I move in a different stratosphere.

Go on....

Box 1: mid/fwd dpp. This works for me. I needed this.

Box 2: Not a first year. Two preseasons under his belt.

Box 3: Stats up. Averaging 24 possies a game in the SANFL and more lately.

Box 4: Replacing a guy (Mrouch) with a lucrative fantasy role.

Box 5: His name's Billy. Not ****en Gryan or Sheridan or any of this flaky sh1t. The name of a kent you'd want next to you in the trenches, who'd pull the enemy off you with his bare hands in the afternoon and then tell a hilarious dirty joke around the camp-fire that night

Oh I forgot the important Box 6: will play in Round 14 when I'm cooked and need him desperately lol

Interesting comment here in the article.

“We don’t see him coming here as a forward and that’s it, we acknowledge that those picks in the mid-season draft are later picks really because it’s on the back of people not getting drafted.

“We wanted to bring him in, and we think he could play a variety of roles in the midfield and even across half-back if we need.
