A bit of chat around Luke Ryan, is he worth the extra ~85k over, say, Jordan Clark?

I'm not sure if I should keep some extra cash in the bank for my last few upgrades, or just bite the bullet and get Ryan.

I'm skipping Ryan on the basis that he's highly owned among the top % and getting on board with him will just mean you break even as opposed to catching up. Bringing in Sinclair instead.

Which would give me Rozee at M9 and 5 trades remaining

If I were in your shoes with current rank I’d be going aggressive AF to counter the other top 1%.

You’re bleeding points with both Oliver and Green who are both highly owned in the top 1%, so I’d trade to PODs to try gain points.

If I go through with trading Stewart and an under performing mid this week it leaves me this, Jackson will come in next week. Defence looks much better with sp gull Ryan and gulden makes the mids a bit better

I’ve had enough of these plodders. Touk has been bad. Anderson Flanders Rowell all ahead of him. Always seems to be a slow starter and struggled with DE%. Some late lipstick masking some recent decent scores. Watching Oliver live on Monday didn’t impress me. Butchers the ball and not hungry for the pill like the piggy we know and love. He may bounce back next year but I’m done with him. Time for fresh blood for the run home.





Next week:
A combo of Freijah/Sully/Garcia > Flanders and rooks. Sexton will be my F6 in a completed side. Shit bench with 4 LTI trades in the bank.

I can do those trades this week but the Rozee one next week wouldn’t make sense because I wouldn’t have a D6 yet.

That’s why I’m kinda tempted to trade clarry and sexton this week to get an upgrade over clarry and a D6

Was going to grab Houston this week but I think it makes more sense to roughie Rankine back in instead as he's going to go up in price and Houston is going to go down in price with a 157 breakeven.

I think I've settled on this for now.
9 trades left after this weeks trades and only 2k in the bank.
Powell to a defender (hopefully Ryan) and a rookie downgrade for cash to complete my side in the next couple of weeks.
Will be left with a few spuds and a s**t bench, but will deal with that later.

Would like to hold Sexton, but he may be struggling to keep his spot. Can't really defend unlike Jeffrey, who looks like competing for his position. Collins, Ballard, Powell, Mac Andrew, Flanders, Jeffrey, Uwlands looks like 7 defenders to me. Jeffrey, Uwlands had very good games. Definitely worth holding over his bye but if not in the R15 team is too valuable not to trade.

I'm in the same boat, it actually makes sense to let them moo for one week longer and hope Ryan drops slightly.
It also allows you to get a better gauge on rookies that might be available Kreuger / Dowling / Hutchison etc.

I think Sullivan will go well against the Roos.

Toying with trading Sexton to Rozee this week. I know he'll be cheaper next week and may spud up on his first game back, but it gives me 21 playing this week instead of 20.

I'm considering trading Wilson to Simpkin.

Both are around the same price but Wilson is on the way down in price while Simpkin is on the way up so it needs to be done now.
