Trades 2024 Round 17 Trades

ZReid to Humphries for me, which opens up all my DPP loops.

Go from having six potential combos for cover to 17 through that move – any bench player can cover basically any position now. Need that flexibility with trades running very low.

I will do this trade next weekend. Want to make sure he makes his 3rd game first.

Kerch to anyone under $470k, possibly Rozee as an M8.

Kerch OUT?! I'm strongly considering trading him IN.

2 games in the VFL after returning from injury, wasn't rushed back, now has a back 50 without Sheez and Fisher. He might double ton this weekend.

Still fielding 1 rookie (and a handful of underperfoming premos on all lines), but comfortable I will win all my leagues

Thinking I could double downgrade and then next week can afford Richards>Rankine.

I’m in the same spot. It’s awkward cause I’ve got bugger all rookies ready to cull (I only have Freijah over 200k, no Richards)

But yeah that’s probably the move if you can’t make an upgrade this week.

Sprain I believe.

Basically, if you trade, he'll be back next week. If you hold, he misses at least two.

I was going to do no trades, but today realised I can do something I’d never considered.

LDU to Rozee
Freijah to Rankine

Theory is LDU is 200k more expensive than Rozee and will only average 5-10 PPG more.

Rankine covers Fisher, leaving me with 23 premos and Kerch.

I like it. Allows me to loop Freijah with Logan Morris and by trading down Hardeman gets me enough $ to go Rowell to either Serong or Ryan...

Some risk attached, but would enable me to grab maybe a Serong and Lawson Humphries next week and have heaps of swing cover (but at the cost of using trades, v low).
Would rather hold Fisher, his scoring has been good.

How safe is Humphries? I might have to trade him in this week for Reville as I need the $$$

Tough to say. Braun/Cam Guthrie both still ahead of him at this stage and both due back in the next few weeks. I'd say pretty safe to get to his first price rise and iffy after that.
