No, Sam Reid will not injure his calf on his farewell lap.

Got a vibe today that swans are about to turn it on - will update the vibe once I’m at the ground.
I hope the vibe includes playing fast in the first quarter for me Jack?

No doubt in my mind that this will be the biggest test we will face until finals. I don't think we match up on them as well as we do against most teams. Grundy has not been in great form the last couple and is going to find the going tough against English, hence I can easily see the Dogs getting a majority first use of the ball.

Do not expect anything less than a fourth-quarter nail biter. A comfortable win is simply not on the cards today, especially with our outs. I'd happily sign up for a close finish.

I'll tip the Swans by 3, but not with any great confidence.
I agree with you here. The one thing that will save us is if we bring relentless pressure for the 4 qtrs. The Bulldogs have shown time and time again that they wilt under extreme pressure and opposition can score heavily on them. Often it's their attitude that dictate results! If they come to play, they can almost beat anybody. If they don't, they can lose to anybody. Let's hope they don't this week!

The guys are practicing their set shots and to no surprise Amartey and Logan are hooking them badly from 40 out :/

I don't want to see another slow start today! We need to bring that pressure from the start. Last week in the 2nd quarter we had Brisbane rattled with our pressure, (until the Blakey/Florent brain fade).

I'm concerned about the Bulldogs 3 tall forwards especially without Rampe. It will be interesting to see who takes the 3rd tall. It might be Blakey but I don't want it to restrict his run from the backline. Speaking of Blakey...please no dinky 15 metre kicks that miss the target today!!

Our 3 tall forwards need to kick straight. In fact everyone needs to kick straight! The last few weeks we have been missing easy shots.

Today is a crucial game. A win will give us a 2.5 game break and it will relieve the pressure for the players and us supporters!

Go Swans 🤍.

With Parker sub surely that means Adams plays full-time mids?

Otherwise I fear we could be in for a bit of a contested hiding here.
Probably similar to last week. Parker was only at 24% of CBs.

Heeney 84%
Warner 68%
Gulden 68%
Adams 48%

Though with both Corey and Wicks in, we might throw Corey in for a few.

JJ another option, especially if going with Richards anyway (62, 90, 32% of CBs last 3 weeks).
