He's traditionally a pretty good DE.

I think he had one bad game (hoping as I'm keeping)

Can you find another cash grab?

Martin ?

I'll give him another week.

But I got plans for him next week .
I don't really need him down back when changes happen.

Agree.......conditions didn't suit his style of play last week...
true. but dawson is notorious for late scoring. usually on 68 at 3qt and brings home another 60 in the last 15 mins.

owning him is a roller-coaster ride.

one more sub 100 in the next few weeks should see a nice drop in price.

Weird seeing T Berry getting traded in. Was hopeless at the Lions and don't see him pulling the same numbers again. Don't think it's worth the one time 60k tbh.

Dean could/should be dropped
Coff was uninspiring
Hore - was okay, no idea on injured Dee's return time frames

I'm assuming the incoming player will be a bench player

Bowey 8 weeks away ....Dirty Hore and Bowey not like for like .
It looks they want Salem to play a different role.

Coff unsure and Bevo and Helmet.

Pink eye ,key back .

Do Hawks bring in Phillips can take interceptor marks ...

I only need one next week ..

He's playing that pressure fwd role ...seems to have good JS.
Minus 70 BE.

Surely scores will be up and down ...

Pressure foward role is not a high scoring position , Which pressure foward have averaged more than 80 ?
Richmond have a heap of them now and in the past and never remember them as high scorers
Tberry scored 60 in round 1 and that looks like being normal but his 104 this week has got people excited

I can't see the FF data to see how tackles he layed .
The weather for the GC game was raining chols and cats hard to read into that game .
He's got a juicy BE.

I'm not 100% on him I would rather Mannagh if both were on bubble..

Terry might AVG 50 from here unsure where that gets him in the 6 weeks ..

1710862900776.png gibcus-dean(subject to selection on wed), fisher to hogan so far. any other trade needed?

have a feeling fisher will come good with his role but hogan is just worth too much at that price imo
is there a world where making no trade this week is the right move? or even just gibcus to dean(or any other def rookie(not even sure theres any good ones) so i have 1 less trade to make next week?

His 104 is in his price cycle for 2 rounds. No other rookie has anything close to that. Every rookie score this week that didn't play R0 has their score for 1 cycle only. No hypotheticals about what he might do, the 62 and 104 are locked in. Also his JS is clearly good.

He's not making a one time 60k, he's making 80k over his next two games even if he drops back to back 40s because of having the 104 there for two rounds. Two 55's and it's 100k. He has another largish score, well, you can figure it out.

It's weird seeing Berry ignored AFAIC, since when it comes to rookies, scores in the cycle along with JS are combined more important than hypotheticals about role and what people think their scoring output might be because of it. Rookies that people project to do well shit the bed all the time, messing with their cash gen because most have zero history at AFL level or are too early in their development cycle to accurately predict.

People trading rookies in that aren't on the bubble at all is much weirder from a historical SC trading principal, than getting a bubble rook with a -75 BE.

The folk talking down the obvious rookie are probably the same that are busy sideways trading premo's this week.

And they will be the ones complaining they have no money for upgrades in a few month's.

Dean and Ash Johnson trained with the B team this week
McInnes and Frampton trained with the A team.
Expect those changes to occur tonight
Fully expect Noble and Macrae to come into the 22 as well

Pretty straightforward:

Jh. Clark > T. Berry
Fisher > Billings

Have $273k in the bank with an eye on next week going:

Gibcus > D'Ambrosio
Lazzaro > Dempsey (if Lazz stinks and Dempsey impresses again)

That'll give me 4 corrections and I'll still have plenty in the kitty.

More than willing to use a few trades early to get the cash gen right.

Didn’t see the Hawks game, is Massimo stealing all of my boy Amon’s chips?
Room for both ATM. Massimo’s first half was really impressive but he did fade in the second. Perhaps doesn’t have the biggest tank. I’m still not convinced he’s in our best 23 when everyone is fit, which is a while off so cash cow wise, shouldn’t be a problem.
Anyone looking to bring Mass in, I’d wait a week if you can. Get a second look

Spot on. Ash/Dean>Reef/Frampton. Macrae gets the start. Noble sub.

If Fin goes well tomorrow night he’ll be in consideration for Rd3 trades.

Already rethinking this. Not the use of a boost, that's pretty much locked in, but my trades.

Honestly don't know who I'd trade out next week for Dempsey, Kerch, Sharp, Bonner, etc. Think the rest of my rookies would all have low BEs. Sanders is the only real concern, but he'll come good eventually. Would I just cash in Cadman already? Don't think so.

So now I'm leaning towards restructuring completely. But that involves trading Martin out, which I don't really want to do because I think he'll come good, but I'm not married to him. Worst case I'll bring him back in later, at what, $50k more?

Before you say "you selected these players after months of planning", that would usually be the case, but not this year. I had no SC preseason and I followed the pack/noise with Fisher and Martin.

So Martin would become a DEF premo (Stewart, Houston or Ryan)
Fisher would become Billings
Gibcus would become TBerry

Then next week I can decide between Mass, Hore, Kerch, Sharp, Bonner, Dempsey

This week is going to my head in, too many options, too many good looking rookies
I'm surprised that more coaches aren't doing this kind of move.

Getting an extra premo in defence where the rookies are looking dicey at best and the choices to bring in are the same. Gives the option of bringing in a much better rookie on one of the other lines

I reckon I'm gonna hold on trading in replacements for Gibcus and ZReid until next week and look at getting the best two bubble boys out of Massimo, Hore, Dawson.

Will use this weeks trades to get Heeney TBerry and Billings
