I don't think people realise how bad reeves was the first 2 games this year, the new ruck rules have completely f***ed him

He simply doesn't have the size or skill to out muscle opponents. Dont take my word for it, look at the data

Below is a list of rucks with hit outs to advantage. Look where Meek is and who he is surrounded by. Granted he only played vs Conway and the pies boys.

Now look where Reeves is (same games played as meek), he aint getting anywhere near this side if Meek keeps playing anywhere near this level

I havent posted the clearance stats but we were worst in clearances for the first 2 weeks, Meek comes in and we at least halving these now

I have come to the conclusion with Meek that it's pointless if you own one of Gawn-English-Marshall to bring him in if your plan is to bring one of the other trio in as well. I definitely would rather own Gawn or Marshall as my second ruck over Meek and cash.

Will come down to priorities.

Instead of going Grundy to meek, is anyone else considering going from Jordan to Meek? Can put Grundy on the pine this week, gawn next week and re evaluate after that depending on if you want to upgrade Grundy or trade meek after he's made some cash.

that’s a great idea, I don’t think either are keepers tho so not sure if you want that money sitting on the pine.

Personally I need to grab Flanders as I had always planned to trade Jordon to him at his bye

English is still gonna drop more in cash. Meek has the stats behind him that he scores significantly greater as a solo ruck. I’d rather take him than a 350k player in another spot.

I also need to use my cash to upgrade Jordon to Flanders so it’s either Flanders + Meek or English and a rookie
