No trades for me this week I think. No real rookies to target and I’ve ditched all my mid pricers other than Fyfe who just bought himself a few more weeks.

Maybe make a play on trading Jackson if Darcy is back.

He played for the Cervantes Sharks and kicks 10+ every game, we love him.
I liked him as a player .

Dean Cox was a forward in SC was a fuu gun .

Yeo and Gov were beasts today .

I think WC would of really gone closer again today with big Oscar.

Was thinking about this before .
These MPM guys are not worth unless they fallen Kent's with some scoring powers,history.etc.

Edit ...like Coleman next year .
Fyfe this year.
Stef Martin at dees at 200 odd K when gawn was inj.

That's enough waffles

Always time for more waffles.
I bet your puppers agree!

God, projecting who the top forward scorers are going to be is pretty bleak.

I've got the money to go Jackson to English (either now or in the next few weeks), but is there any point when it seems that even if he only goes at 85-90, with a couple of spike games, Jacko will probably be in the top 10 forwards anyway?

I've also got the same problem with McKay. I brought him in for some quick cash, but there's every chance he becomes a really underwhelming keeper.

I'm at that terrible point where I'm considering Zorko. Freaking gross.

Tough week for trades this week. Stuck with Grundy and would require a boost to get him to Marshall. But want English eventually so probably just hold and cop it.

Liked Lohmann, fixture upcoming is not good though - Melb, Cats, GWS, GC. Does he have a tank? Slowed down in second half like in the praccy.

Will watch Sonsie. Can get 30 in the VFL but playing forward.

Happy to go early on Comben if not happy with other options.

280k banked so
Jordon>Martin
Sexton>Lohman/Sonsie/Comben

Need to get Merrett/Petracca for their runs coming up but have no idea how to get there.

I’m convinced that 40 trades is making everyone worse at this game.

People are shuffling the deck chairs chasing the points from the previous weeks and ignoring why they picked players in the first place. Guys like Young and Martin are great examples.

I’ve made 5 trades and I’m not sure my team is any better.

The good teams will have been the ones who have backed their choices, let their rookies get plump (not wasting 2 trades making $40k on Thomas Berry ffs) and then go nuts while others will need to start thinking about reigning in the trading.
We are upto round 5 and i have 32 trades left
Last year i used my last trade just before the last game and only because i had it

I dont understand why you would want to hold the trades when you have opportunity to generate more $$$ early to improve your team quicker.

I will most likely use another 20 trades in the next 10 rounds and keep 6-8 trades for injuries for the last 4-5 games

I guess its a risk reward with the rookies, Jordon's 70k is pretty mediocre, but that's also in comparison to some phenomenal rooks.

The further point is it's waaaay easier for a rook to make their 70k than it is for Jordon, even if the rookie is shite (Clark will have made 70k after this week..)

In a year with so many rooks (and I don't think it was a huge surprise), doesn't seem like there's a solid argument to start so many MPs, especially with 40 trades you can burn through the shit rookies (like in defence this year) to maximise cash gen

Grundy is being looked at this week.
Max King there for POD and gen of cash, think will hold due to Best 18.

Should have 14 premos for next weeks bye depending on where Grundy goes.

Well, I won't be grabbing Hollands in the near future lol.

Wines will be back according to Hinkley.

Wardlaw's fun to own because he's great to watch, but he isn't getting it done score-wise. I have a tendency to get blokes a year or two too early. Really thought George could be a 2nd year breakout guy, but right now his scores are hurting.

So Wardlaw > JHF and then prolly grab that lanky yoof Darcy a week late, if he's named again, which it looks like he will be. For Sexton.

JHF has a great scoring run potential. And possible DPP. mmm.

If Zilliams is out for a while I'll upgrade him to Ryan with the 300k in my bank.

Otherwise I'm considering Grundy to English or T.Berry to JHF
Voss said in the presser that he's fine. They'll probably scan as a precaution though. Let's see..
