Was already going to be copping Howes on field to cover Daicos on the bye. Now Hack Williams injured himself late so have him to deal with.

Grundy also on the bye, will have to hold spud Jackson to cover R2. With Darcy back rucking, Jackson will struggle to score over 80

Darcy will come on field to cover Heeney. LJ moving to R2 so Cadman also needs to come on field.

So Jordon and Hack Williams the trade outs. I need to somehow turn both these spuds into budget "premos" with 150k in the bank.

Then who do I cover Roberts with in the mids? Have my pick between spuds Wilson, Clark and Mannagh....absolutely grim.

Trading Harley and keeping Jordon has crucified me this week and next

I’ve got 20 currently playing so I’m thinking the same. Might just hold Jordon as I don’t have the bank to go him to anyone that I want, and there’s no pressing bubble boys to get in this week.

Not getting Dempsey has been a huge mistake on my part, but you can’t get them all.

The only rook with the a low BE next week will be Lohmann, but he's $160k+, he's on the edge of their best 22, he's not playing North again, he has a horrid run of games coming up (Dees, Cats, Giants), and he has no tank.

So unless you go early on somebody, downgrade options will be few and far between.

Missed too many good rookies unfortunately. The bench is dead. On field scoring not sustainable and eventually the lack of cash gen will bite me. Only hope is fallen premos like Dawson and Oliver actually coming good. I’ll need another 3-4 of these fallen premos to complete my side

Thought maybe a nice long sleep would have seen you woken up a changed, positive man. But alas a man never happy with his 5 guys over 130.

Look at the bench though. Look at the spuds on field. I’ve said for the last few weeks, 2-3 guys have carried my team. I’m under no illusions that this is not sustainable long term. Will hit a wall soon enough.

You should have 20 playing next week. 12 premos plus Powell is pretty good going.

Have you got any bank to go Jordon to a $500k type?

I really need some more cash cows in my team so I am going to make the bold move.

Sexton > Dempsey

Even though I have missed 2 price rises there is still plenty of cash to be made.
I think both Dempsey & Sharp could get to $400k so even paying $250m-$270k it's not that bad.
Expecially as there aren't many fresh Rookies coming through at the moment.

Honestly thought of Jordon to Dempsey as the sole trade.

Bank the $80k? and hope that Dempsey keeps going up to $350-$400k.

I have about 150k bank but not sure how to use it. Before trades I’d have:

Howes D5 and a donut at D6
Donut R2
Cadman F6
Wilson M8

I can’t fix all these holes it’s just too much

What about doing something like:

Jordon to Dempsey, bank the $

Grundy out, Jacko to R2

Move Wilson into the Fwds

Then see what that unlocks? Could swing Naicos to mids and grab a H Young type? Could leave Naicos and grab a N Martin type?

Kerch and Roberts will go back to sort out Zeid and Pink in RD7? , and hopefully there’s a few more mid rooks that pop up by then.

That might be the play.

Kerch going to be an easy move on if his role is like the weekend. Actually got enough guys that top out of money making he will be first to go.

Sharp 120 is an outlier. Encourage those to bring him in.

My forward line is a shambles and will be even worse with No Jordan (F3 ) I might as well give it a crack especially seeing as the next 2 weeks are only Best 18.

not really sure you do and sometimes there are opportunities to improve your team by just trading sideways if things go your way

e.g
JHF is currently $433,900 and has scored 2 tons (112 & 132) and has a BE prior to this week of 59
Now he is looking like getting to $600k in 4-5 weeks and might end up being a keeper and if not can side trade him to an elite keeper when they eventually drop like Oliver , Dawson , Gulden or Serong.

With 40 trades you have the ability to generate cash quicker and im thinking people (good coaches) will have their completed teams quicker and have 6-8 trades left at the end of the season

I wish Naismith was playing today as I've started with him.... but he aint!
