Been like this right through our three-peat run. Some things never change.
It really doesn't. Perhaps we should be reassured that somethings, like ticketing fiascos, never change. The excitement of being in finals never changes, too. The other thing AFL that never seems to change is the inability to provide proper sound for the journalists asking questions in the coaches post match.

Such a good start to the game against the Dogs Friday week. They are already complaining that they have been hard by with the AFL scheduling a clash with the AFLW home opener at Witten Oval. Yes, don’t come to the G Dogs fans. Yes, complain about scheduling for two weeks and nurse hard that irrelevant grudge. Yes, have every Dogs player addressing that issue in their press conferences rather than focusing only on their hardest game of the year.

Now let’s see Jones get rubbed for a week (Sicily would have been rubbed for the season) and let the whinging hit top gear. With luck, the Doggies’ minds will already be filled with excuses for losing and reasons not to play on Friday night well before the first bounce.

No way does CJ come back ahead of Morrison unless he plays a) a full game for Box Hill next week and b) he plays a blinder.

CJ's form was just OK before his injury; now he hasn't played for three weeks, he doesn't just walk back in.

People should actually pay attention to what Morrison has been doing since he came in, not just repeat the 'he's not best 22' mantra to themselves over and over again.

Good, good... I feel your anger. Let your hatred grow and distract you!

Do we deploy Maginess onto Bont?

Morrison will be very stiff to miss out, if he's not in the 22 then he should be sub... But Breust is the perfect super sub so who knows?? :drunk:

Maginness really hasn’t tagged anyone since half time of round 4. That’s not going to change in finals.

Every chance Nash starts with Bont at most contests but he won’t be tagging, just body on to stop him getting clean use.

Maginness will be an out. He was slow and wasteful with the ball against North, basically the opposite of how our midfield works.

Liam Jones' tackle - he gonna miss? would be interesting if he plays

It was actually a rare moment of equity and fairness from the AFL; the finals draw ensures there is not more than one day difference in rest between games for any teams that play again in the second week.

Port/Cats on Thursday, and Hawks/Dogs on Saturday would have resulted in one team getting two days less recovery than the other.

So yeah, eat shit, Throwdogs!

He will play 100%.

Genuinely can’t understand the bulldogs gripe here.

Playing their first final in Vic since 2016 and they are more concerned that it will clash with an AFLW game 🤣

Talk about having a sook.

Weird little club

It's the fear talking.

If he’s fit he will be in 100%

Strange. Wanting to dodge Fri night lights due to an AFLW clash.

Channel 7 and AFL would've swatted that request like a fly.

As much as I hate it (cause I can't go), it's actually a fair result.
