That's still too few, and any SSP players will go to the Rookie List, not the Senior List.

DFA's we sign up

By my numbers we have 34 players plus Monahan and Duffy

We will pick 2-3 players during Draft. That is 36-37. Two rookies is 38-39 then we can sign DFA's (which we will) or SSPs

Is that right?

Your numbers are wrong.
If we pick 3 in the ND, AND a DFA (/PSD) AND another player (PSD) to make 37, that would be taking 5.
But you only took 2?

AFL rules state that each club has 42 players on their list, consisting of Senior Players and Rookies.

Plus the additional option of 2x additional Cat B rookies. Making the lid 44 players.

Senior List.
Must be between 36 and 38 players.

Carlton currently have 34 players, (including Hayes, Boyd & your drafted players)
As this is a phantom draft and we don’t have the luxury of train on players, we are filling all the lists now.
You passed in the draft and will need to fill the remaining 2 senior spots in the PSD.

Rookie List
Must be between 4-6 players

Carlton currently have 3 players, (including Lord) You’ll need to pick 3 players here.
As this is a phantom draft and we don’t have the luxury of train on players, we are filling all the lists now.

For the PSD and Rookie draft you can pick from the undrafted players or DFAs. Doesn’t need to have anything to do with who Carlton are looking at. Only who you think is best.

Hold off on your picks until we finalise the PSD order with all the additional delistings.
