Had a look who is out of contract next year.
Aidan Corr, Brynn Teakle, Callum Coleman-Jones, Darcy Tucker, Eddie Ford, Finnbar Maley, Geordie Payne, Jacob Konstanty, Jaidyn Stephenson, Josh Goater, Kallan Dawson, Luke Davies-Uniacke, Miller Bergman, Robert Hansen, Toby Pink, Will Phillips
5 of these will be gone you would assume (strike through)
Out of the 6 underlined players at least 2 or 3 will go.
On top of that LDU might leave (unlikely imo)
Means another 8 or so players need to be replaced. Even with adding 2 or 3 free agents/trades next year it is unlikely we will replace the rest in next years draft. Are we considering paying out 1 or 2 of the contracts this year?
Intriguing!!!

Thought Corr did really well this year considering Logue missed most of the season.

Kal Dawson needs to find another gear and push Corr out if he wants to stay.

I think Eddie stays, He showed flashes of brilliance this year and I'm hopeful he can build on that over the preseason. He's only 22, has improvement left in the tank.

Geordie will get his shot this year, wherever he is I hope he's working super hard this off-season to put himself in a good position to take the chance.

RHJ needs to impress. Only 20 so there's potential there for improvement, but unlike Eddie he hasn't had those moments where you think holy shit that was great.

I think most of these decisions will be quite obvious come this time next year.

The hope will be that if we can get the improvement we need, we will become a much more attractive destination. 8 Wins, LDU staying, Sheez in brownlow contention, a couple AA's. That has to be the target. Maybe aspirational but LDU, Sheez, Wardlaw are all premiership players in that engine room. My bold prediction is Jackson Archer will start entering AA talks, his improvement this year was astronomical. If he replicates half of that improvement again he's going slaughter a lot of small / medium forwards.

Tucker comfortably in front of Bergman as it stands.

We can't get rid of both Teakle and CCJ until if/when Goad is ready. Unless we trade in someone else to ruck when X gets injured. So I could see Teakle staying on the books for a couple years yet. Every team needs low-cost depth options.

No chance Richmond do that. Hope our pokerface is up to scratch. I'd imagine we're pretty keen to split, but showing that would be rather foolhardy

Live stream of the D&T board of the hoard of Richmond fans after telling us we will be lucky to get Pick 23 as a kicker and pick 22 for a F1 for weeks

Teak is poised to be a handy role player.

Quality is not so much the issue with him - he can clunk them and showed some game sense.

He went missing for long spells during games - not sure if it was a fitness thing.

I'd be into him about aiming for two marks a quarter, preferably one on the forward 50.

He's a watch next year.

Picks 6+10 in this draft for pick 2, couldn't say yes fast enough
I know this gets knocked down, BUT, if Richmond do want pick 2, are they not better off doing this deal ASAP as surely/clearly North is speaking to other clubs about pick 2. It's probably in our interests to wait till on the night, but this way Tigs can assure they sit where they want. This is why the offer needs to be in our interests.

Based on this year at least, Darcy Tucker will be going nowhere. Weird call

Tom offering 6 & 10 for 2.

I'm interested to see what Jon Ralph counters with.
24, 79, & 97

If we're well behaved like a good little club, then we might be allowed to change the 24 into 23.. maybe..
