I think we can put to bed suggestions we’re offering Houston 1.5m a season.

Twomey just said the offer from North is 5 years at a bit over 4m in total.

Great insight to understand how keen we are. We’re offering less than Perryman on average. We aren’t being serious re: Houston by offering basically market rate for him.

It's worth dipping the toes in to see what dodildos' replacement is like to deal with...

On SM-G991B using BigFooty.com mobile app
They’ll want either a future first if they trade out 9

Or If they trade up they would want a top 6 pick to be safe

But they don’t have anything high enough worth splitting 2 with to go on top of 9 (unless they trade 9 and future first for pick 2)

So if we wanted it we would need to trade our future first, would need some steak knives coming back our way also

In fairness A LOT of posters have done the heavy lifting with negative posts in TAO's absence.
Can't be that hard to fill the gaps - just set up a macro that inserts the word shitmen randomly into every sentence. :thumbsu:

Yeah. In contrast to the crazy Perryman deal, I reckon 800k a year for a double AA, top 3 back flanker in the comp, to come across from a finalist to bottom 2 team is a serious and reasonable offer for where everyone is at.

We also would have an idea of how many list changes max we'd be willing to do. Unlocking more early picks means our later picks potentially become disposable.
That's when you move them into next year. Not over pay for players that won't move the needle.

essendon pick 9 will be gettable, should be going after it

they will trade it out to avoid a kako bid at 7/8
I like this. Is Kako expected to be bid that high?

If we can trade with Melbourne, P2 for P6 + F1. Threaten a bid to trade F1 for P9 + something else.

Would be happy to draft with picks 6 and 9. Then we'd get to death ride Melbourne for a year.

Big Footy is like Hotel California, you can log out any time you like, but you can never leave.
I reckon the phrase "such a lovely place" might be stretching the truth slightly.

And I was thinkin' to myself, this could be heaven or this could be hell

Welcome to the North Big Footy
Such a lonely place, such a lonely place
Such a lonely face
Plenty of threads at the North Big Footy
Especially this time of year, this time of year
You can find trade suggestions and pick swaps here

They're livin' it up at North Big Footy
What a nice surprise (what a nice surprise)
Post under your alibis

Split #44 for Dees #49 #54.

Fling one of them to swans. Done.
Richmond will also most likely have a lot of late picks they won’t use if they are taking so many early.

There should be plenty opportunities for pick swaps.

I would think the club is banking on someone like a River Stevens being our last pick or slipping through the Rookie Draft.
