Can someone tell me what a Rawlings is?

I’m okay with reaching on the Daniel and Parker deals if required, and am open minded in what splitting our p2 and trading our F1 into this year look like. Is anyone else with me?
If we aren't getting Houston it makes no sense to me to trade our F1 into this draft. Future picks are being valued at a discount and we'll need it next year. We also don't have that many free list spots, we'll have enough picks by splitting 2.

Exactly

And allows us to trade future second and future 3rd to get Daniel and Parker deals done with late futures coming back our way too

Instead of using this years picks in trades

Depends on what takers there are for each I guess.

houston was super important to make the f1 worthwhile. Now we have to settle back into the rebuild and recognise our 2025 ceiling is probably 14th

Starting to get over player managers and opposition clubs using North as leverage.
In the past yes but we literally did all the ground work here lol

We reached out first. We scouted. We made an offer. We had interest.

And then all 3 of Melbourne then Carlton and then Collingwood were more fancied than us.

Yet despite this being clear as day that this was occurring, many here refused to accept it. More concerning is that the club continues to allow it to happen.

We should have pulled out of the race as soon as Dan/Connors told us were the third choice.
We were 2nd preference the whole way through.

Port were never an option. He was never going back.
And then they got smashed in the trade.
As much as we can't attract these type of players yet we need to still sell ourselves in any way we can.
