The Dingrel, you might be onto something here, I’ve just heard Darling was a mentor to someone at WCE, and they’re shattered he left. ;)
Mate I was just composing a fairy tale, happy for others to run with it though. The Houston interest smoke screen focussing all media and big clubs energy on that, the no trade of meanginful picks, the radio silence out of Arden St, Toddles in Perth, Harley hanging with future bro in law BGZ, WCE seemingly happily involved in sh1te trades in the knowledge they're about to land 2, and likely have 2 top 5 picks in 2025 and a war chest.

......and by this time tomorrow, hopefully we've landed Parker and not done anything stupid!

Port board taking it well:

What is the point of this club existing anymore. Just get rid of it.”
To ring fence its supprterbase in a small geographic area more or less quarantined from the rest of the population restricting any contamination of the wider gene pool. Nothing else comes to mind sorry.

How does Rawlings still have a job?
To be fair you can only blame him from Hugh up, he wasn't at the club before that. Then Hugh CCJ were a Noble call, Liam Shiels and Howe were a Clarkson call. So the other ones aren't too bad considering we have been stuck to the bottom

I thought it looked much the same?

Edit: Addition of pick 50
wow pick 50,,,,,you know what is funny about that whole "mega trade",,,,,,in 2012 we offered them pick 37 for Ben Jacobs who was out of contract. They turned it down saying they won't use it and walked him to the draft where we used that pick on him. Rory Atkins went at pick #81 in that draft. And now 12 years later, after playing reserves for the Suns most of 2024, are welcoming him to the club as part of the Houston trade. Go Pooorta!

We're stuck in a ****ing active volcano and we're laughing at the tourists above who've accidentally dropped their cameras and binoculars into it. Don't know how some of you campaigners find it in you to rejoice at others' shit trades at this point. Are you all numb to the pain or something?
It's footy, it is at it's core entertainment. When you're team's shit, find joy where you can.
This is the time to do it, if your team's flying you're just an obnoxious campaigner.

With Port absolutely getting a below par return for a contracted dual AA player all I can say is I feel like they've been hit by the karma bus for what they pulled with the JHF deal given he was contracted too. And rightly so as well

Kind of agree with you, but pick 25, in this draft that is laden with talls around that mark, we are going the reverse-kanga, and getting a f**king chimney sweep. It’s diabolical on so many levels.
He’s going apply zero physical pressure, which is awesome for our young kids to follow. Gets smashed around the footy, another great example for the kids. And can’t defend. What’s the upside here, 25metre sideways kicks? Magoo could do that.
Ridiculous. Bloke is a great kick, would be better than all our list. Might not kick it 60m but he hits a target consistently and if you think it's always sideways then I'm not sure you've even watched him.
