If the Tigers take 8 top 25 picks how are they going to manage fa?
I recognise it would be playing a epicly long game but perhaps it's in our interest to have them take all 8.
When they aren't all getting games in their 1st 2 to 3 years, 1 or 2 of the them maybe poached. Especially if they are interstate kids.

They had only 4 midfielders - Neale, McCluggage, Dunkley and Ashcroft - taking nearly all the stoppages?

Raynor and Berry would've been in there less than 10% of the time.
When the GF was won in the 2nd QTR, it was only those 4 in there along with Fort and Daniher. They absolutely smashed Sydney who used 8 + Grundy and McClean.

The were so clean with contested ball and set up the win.

I think Norths equivelent currently is LDU, Kerch, Wardlaw and we could use a big bodied mid here for balance, Powell curently.

Sheezel is amazing but love the idea of big games him coming of the back of the square to collect or reciveve with moents in there, interchange with Kerch at different stages. Also a watch is in afew years having Duurs run through there for big moments.

Swap our #2 for Adelaides #4 and their F1st then ontrade that to GWS for #15 and #16 maybe
We end up with #4, #15 and #16...
l'm not sure if thats a good or bad trade but no doubt people here will let me know... :laughv1:

If the Crows decide they are desperate for Draper (and it's possible, home grown, oozes leadership and probably not going to make it to them under normal circumstances) and also consider their window good enough to put them into finals contention then it's not impossible they may go all in with an F1 to convince us. Last year the Dogs traded 10, 17 and eventually 13 in this draft for 4, 46, 51 and a F3, proof if a club wants a player they worry about the next draft later.

If we gamble their F1 will be worth around 10 and send them our F2 in the deal then the point value is pretty similar, 30pts roughly. I know points are worth little more than assigned value but if we land this at 5 (after an Ashcroft bid) and 10 in for 2 and 26 out. If we could manage that GWS swap for an example we would still end up with one of the top four mids/Tauru and then have great flexibility later in the top 20 to grab some needs players like last year. We may not even have to deathride the Crows.

7 retirements/delistings, 3 uncontracted, 4 players in, and 2 picks in the draft currently. Anyone know of any DFA's we are actually looking at? Is Parfitt worth looking at? Premiership player, and have to be an upgrade on our current uncontracted players?
