Glenelg beat Norwood in the grand final in the game of the year after Norwood led all day, Liam McBean, awesome with 7 goals, the 30 year old 202cm forward couldn't be stopped as he played a blinder.
While I don't think it will happen, the plan I have heard is trade our future 1st for a pick in this year's 1st round and get other picks as well. Then use the pick we traded in year for Houstan, so it he wouldn't be traded in for pick 3.We brought in Logue, Shiels & Tucker in one off-season and it didn't do much for us. They may improve us somewhat but thinking that adding two players at the end of their careers, a guy who hasn't even played a game yet, and a HBF will jumpstart our performances by a significant amount is wishful thinking IMO.
If we trade a top 3 pick it should be for a match winner.
Look, if he was 25/26 its possible, but that's what we got Jack Darling for, and he's a premiership player.Worth a look?
We wont be trading a top 3 pick for any of these. If we split #2 for Freos #9 and #10 then Poort will be offered #10 for Houston but l would like to tempt them with our F1st eventhough they have already said that they dont want future picks from other clubs. Darling will go around #64 and Parker around #40. After things then settle we then see what we offer Sydney for Konsanky or maybe do a package deal with the Parker deal.We brought in Logue, Shiels & Tucker in one off-season and it didn't do much for us. The longer Will Dawson gets to develop in the scoobs, the better he will be. He is still very raw
The fact that he is a best 22 lock ahead of some of more talented, younger players, is why he supports the point IMO.
Our future first for crows 2024 first round pick (4). Split either 2 or 4, preferably 4. Offer one of the split to Port for Houston use the other split to draft a KPF. Come out of the draft with high end mid (2) first round key position forward (split) Houston (split)We wont be trading a top 3 pick for any of these. Adelaide are keen on Draper this season so they might use their pick#4 but l wonder if they are more keen on getting Sharp next year and this is were offering them our F1st for their pick #4 comes into play.
If things work out we could end up with Picks #4, #6, #22 and Houston, Parker, Darling and Maybe Konstanky..
There are so many senarios to play out .

I know we aren't good but it seems like half the players going around barracked for us as kids. Yet they are all loyal.Houston is going to Carlton. Supported them as a kid. His best mate is there. In deep discussions with Vossy. Carlton posturing to not pay overs, which they eventually will.
Sounds good. Pick#4 for Freos picks #9 and #10 with #10 going to Poort for Houston.. We end up with pick#2 and #9 and #22..Our future first for crows 2024 first round pick (4). l cant see them getting both....Can't see Crows trading their 4th... they need elite mid talent... they will be wanting Draper and Sharp

Sorry TTS. I was being a bit facetious with my postLook, if he was 25/26 its possible, but that's what we got Jack Darling for, and he's a premiership player.
Good. Save us from ourselves.Houston is going to Carlton. Supported them as a kid. His best mate is there. In deep discussions with Vossy. Carlton posturing to not pay overs, which they eventually will.
Do Carlton need a 33 yr old backup for when Curnow or McKay go down?Good. Save us from ourselves.

If our team with these additions and 2-3 highly talented draftees coming on board can’t manage 7-8 wins with possibly an easier draw, then just shut up shop.but what about if Houston is combined with Parker, Darling, Konstanty and maybe 1 other coming across as well?
It would be a miraculous turnaround to get anything more than 5-6 wins next year which would still most likely see us in the bottom 4.
Again, someone like Houston would barely move the needle for us. He had a good year but is being severely overrated.
Now that would be really crazy and would just about cost your F1The crazy part is the rumour we are trying this year mate.
I have no idea If it's true.
Doubt it tbh
Fix up those couple of small things from the Pies, Demons and West Coast game and we could have had 6 this year.
I don't see 5-6 wins next year as an unachievable "miraculous turnaround" lol. We'll easily get there and more.
