Surely we say:
Bolton for 10 and 18 (until 930)
Bolton for 11 and 18 (until 1030)
Bolton for 11 and 30 (until 1130)
Bolton for 18 and 30 until the bell.
We need to earn a reputation of being fair but straight up.
Unless we really want to trade one of the 3 into next year or have other trades we want to do, you just leave 10 and 18 on the table until the bell. No need to be petty and move the goal posts if it isn't affecting anything.

In fact pick swaps can still be done right up until the draft so no need to move unless we have our eyes on a trade for another player.

I still have no idea how the Eagles are haggling over getting a first round pick for an old, semi injured player who doesn't want to be at West Coast. Even more so when they should be rebuilding and grabbing as many top picks as they can find and the Hawks are offering a second round pick too. It's screwed them on the Baker trade and I hope it bites them again with Barrass.

Genuinely, at what stage does Richmond start to consider the mental welfare of its player and just accept the deal on the table from Freo? Bolton is a relatively young guy with a young family literally in limbo across the country (pregnant wife, no less) and Richmond are greedily haggling over more picks to add to their already ridiculously strong draft hand. Seems like a seriously morally corrupt organisation.

He made his bed (signed 5 yr contract) now he lies in it. It's a lesson for all players...dont go after big contracts.

Too often players rule the roost at clubs. Time clubs got some of the power back.

So from the way I read that Morris is suggesting we are going to give all 3 first rounders for bolton, we had better be getting something good back!

Don’t despair. I believe that Richmond already hold 1, 14, 20 and 24

GC will give em 6 and 23

That means 6 of top 24, which suggest will will be giving up 2 of our first rounders which is to be expected

Corrupt? I'm sure if Freo were in the same position as Richmond, they'd be doing the same thing and no it wouldn't be corrupt either. Clubs want whats best for them....the club....that is not corrupt at all and anyone who thinks it's corrupt doesn't have a good feel for the game or the Trade period.

We were last year, traded a contracted small forward to Pies for F1 and a second.

#10 and #30 it is.

Or #10 and #18 for Bolton and a second round pick

Luke Parker still hasn't gone to North yet.

I thought that would be sorted pretty quickly.

Pretty petty from the Swans if you ask me

So the five biggest names on offer for trade are Bolton, Houston, Barrass, Rioli, Smith. And 4 out of 5 have been left for deadline drama. The only surprise to me is that Houston actually got done before tomorrow.
You forgot Owies. He went for pick 3 so clearly the best of the lot.

I said morally corrupt nuffie. Holding a young bloke and his family to ransom over a greedy reach for extra picks when there’s a perfectly reasonable offer on the table is morally corrupt. Tigers should be ashamed as a club.

Still not "morraly corrupt" either. All clubs are doing what they need to do to facilitate trades whilst doing what's best for their interests. That is neither corrupt or morally corrupt.

Nobody is being held to ransom. It's all going exactly as Bolton and his family would/should have expected. Would say the trade is already agreed upon and they just need to wait until Wednesday so the AFL can extend the contrived drama for the biggest trade that will go down this year.
