The developing theme of "I've always known she's bad, now others are starting to see it" is ridiculous.

It's whether she's worse than Trump, because people who vote have to vote for one of them. Which of them would you vote for if you were a US citizen?

US citizens can vote for Harris, Trump, Third Party (depending on who is balloted in your state).or not vote at all (which is actually the majority).

I'd most likely vote Third Party or not at all at this election.

They also have the option to note vote at all, which is a factor often forgotten by us in Australia (we have to vote for someone). So it can be about enthusing your supporters and making the other side disenchanted

For clarity, I did acknowledge non-voters in my original post (bolded), but perhaps didn't express myself as clearly as possible.

I think voting 3rd party in the US is a cop-out personally. Having said that, I haven't voted Liberal or Labour since the 90's, because I typically see their candidates as equally bad and don't care who becomes PM. I get that you think the same about the US presidency and IMO that view is very wrong. Trump would be a disaster given his revenge motive and lack of concern for policies and governing.

hope that isn't another one posted 4 hours before the actual rally (there was a similar nature post by an anti harris group about one of Harris' rallies having only 47 people there - 4 hours before a later video showing a full rally

It would though be designed to cause trump to get angry (vanity attacked) and cause him to perhaps spout more incoherent crap that might turn some of the cult

I think there’s something to be said about the Republicans leading us on a death march for decades now, each more objectionable than the one before.

But I also see a Democratic Party who doesn’t really offer a solution beyond “vote for us to keep them out”, and I don’t see how “keep the Democrats in power into eternity” is any less pie in the sky than any of the hardline left “just make it happen” demands that everyone shits on.

Like I’ll agree that the Republican road leads to fascism, but what’s the solution here beyond putting off the inevitable?

Hard to know if those at that time were posting as hyperbole or because they felt that same emotional feel of existential threat (threat along the lines of - and I am presuming here - curtailed abortion rights, persecution of non straight sexuality persons, unfettered gun access, reducing environmental protection, persecution of those who are not white...)
