Backline has been horrible and defensive transition in the midfield

And another due to some poor handling through the middle by our lads.Really pathetic defence
Have hardly sighted Morris. Doesn't seem to be a priority target when going forward. I guess with so many talls/ rucks it will be harder for him this week. Annoying!
I'm not sure how that would work? Can they send Lane to the QAFL?
Has something about him doesn't he. Really reliable kick too. That was so classy from Reece Torrent, one of those players that makes time for himself.
He’s close but maybe next year more realistic. I would say the areas to work on would be his tank, competitiveness in the ruck and then follow up stuff. He hasn’t rucked a lot in the past. Seemed to have been pigeon holed into forward position but this year he’s definitely getting more ruck minutes and seems to be doing well.Could be the beginning of Smith applying pressure on Oscar for the number one ruck mantle? Fourth year in the system so has had plenty of time - although i can't pretend to have been watching him closely - what do others think about how ready he would be?
Lloyd back would be good for his development. I think that position might actually be more suited to him long term. Similar size to Lester so could be that third tall depth/ replacement back thereI'm not sure how that would work?
Today though, (from what I can tell) we have Fort (#1 Ruck), Lane (Fwd/ Ruck), Smith (Fwd/Ruck), Lloyd (Fwd), Ryan (Fwd) and Morris (Fwd).
Wont happen every week but it isn't the most functional forward line.
Will be interesting if we pick Gillet from the academy this year. Surely Lane would be moved on if that's the case? Perhaps Lloyd or Morris might eventually be moved back?
