Heading into this year, I fully assumed Lane was making up numbers and would be delisted. Now I'm not so sure - has been impressive in multiple games. Could definitely get his fitness to a better level, but we're starting to see the things we hoped we'd see the last few years. I think we should extend him another year.

I would move Fort on before him. Fort has hindered his and Smith's development, IMO.

That was an enjoyable afternoon. My thoughts on best Robertson, Tunstill, Lyons, Prior and then a gap to Abberley best of the top ups. Both Smith and Lane continue to develop.

Henry and Lane both showed enough in their development to think they might have a future. Both seem to be getting more mobile and look to have the potential to keep developing. Both can take a contested mark and if they keep working on endurance, by this time next year, one or both might be ready to step up to AFL level as forward/ruck.

Tunstill and Robertson would be desperate for their next chance to go up but they are working on their game and beginning to take control in the midfield which is exactly what they need to do at this level.

I really like the fact that it was someone other than Fort that got the call up to the Seniors.
Smith was close so bodes well.
