Can't say I noticed Freijah much in what I saw of the broadcast but I see he went 100% DE for his 17 disposals (11k 6HB). Impressive.
I feel he needs to be in the seniors sooner rather than later. We are done with the current senior group and need to refresh the squad.

Freijah. Left or right footed? Please. It's not in bio and I haven't seen him....

Help a brother
Here's a little clip of him as an U18. Every kick he took was with his right foot.

So unless Bevo ... ... naah, surely not. He's a right footer.

😲

That was the answer I was hoping for. Into the cauldron it goes.

Double double toil and trouble.....

Anyone old enough to remember Neil Cordy (hopefully not just me!), for some reason after a number of seasons (think he started it under Bluey, but possibly under Hart) Neil started bouncing the ball exclusively with his left hand (he's a natural right footer and right hander) and even opting to often kick left footed when under no pressure. Frustratingly his left foot kicks were loopier than his right, so not sure why he persisted. I noticed he largely cut them out of his game once he became a permanent full back at Sydney.
Maybe he was trying to emulate Hawk (and Choco and Jock) who were all more than capable on their left?
Freddy McGuiness another good dual sided kick, then of course Leon Cameron and Lindsay Gilbee who could both kick long and accurately left or right.
Hopefully Freijah is of their ilk...

Does this mean no Daniel? Or can still be a late addition

I love how they try and name every player in a position they don't play in the announcement.

Where are we presuming the talls are playing this week? With Lobb and Smith in, Gardner won't be required in the ruck. Does he go to full back or will he play forward so Croft can get some reps in the backline? Hoping its the latter.

we love centre half back Caleb Daniel

Keath has had a shitload of the ball so far. big worry is that we've been trying to switch with him.
His kicking is fine on the switch.

If you didn't know better, watching this quarter you'd think Freijah was the guy with AFL experience and Daniel as a developing kid.

Watching Gardner just puts an exclamation point on why Bevo is culpable.

Our CHB for a significant period of time, on a long term contract, and just cannot play at all and never could.
Bevo is to blame for a lot but not that, that’s on the list manager

Been concerning watching Caleb at VFL level, Macrae responded by getting nearly 50 touches and forcing his way right back in.

Not sure if it's an attitude thing or what. But you'd think Caleb would be extra aggressive trying to prove he can offer something in the way of ball movement and hitting targets, something he's historically been great at and what the team's lacking. But generally feels like he's floating in and out of it.
