Wow! Was offered a 10 year deal by someone? When clubs start throwing that around you know they must be a pretty special player. So happy he's decided to stay, but I don't think he ever considered leaving.

Massive commitment to the club by errol. A 10 year deal would be life changing for any young player. To turn that down would be no easy task, but his loyalty and commitment has shine through.
Perhaps we offered 10, but he only wanted 4.

Obviously great news, but I don't think he's the finished product just yet.
Certainly next pre-season if he could work on getting a bit taller that would be good.

Mind you a former England goalkeeper in Peter Shilton told the story that, in his teenage years, he used to hang from the bannister at home in an effort to make his arms longer.
I'm also sure I remember a story years ago about an athlete in the behind the Iron Curtain days having his legs broken and steel rods inserted to increase his height (although that might also have been a story about Paddy Cripps).

Off topic, but I still reckon the choice for Will is to stay, or go to a Melbourne club
We'll never know what the Swan's initial offer was but I reckon 4 years is very smart by Errol (and/or his manager). It probably maximises his pay in that period, takes him to Free Agency, almost certainly Restricted and sets him up for a long and lucrative contract at age 26.
For the Swans they will have the opportunity to match any offer.

Problem with this Hairy, is that you're too nice, everyone on here would know that you weren't serious.I must admit I was going for the "oh ffs, are people ever happy on here" initial reaction.
If anyone gets the chance to see him on 360 tonight we have an outstanding person , what an interview and even with Slobbo who summed it up well by saying other clubs would love to have a person like this on their list

Yeah I didn't realise how entrenched his entire family was with the club. Clearly was never going anywhere else
