Thought the second fifty paid against him was a bit soft. He returned the ball, okay, maybe a bit hard, but how many times do you see that go unpenalised in a weekend? Or the ball not returned at all to waste time and go unpenalised? Seemed to throw him out a bit.

His casual lob into the fifty rather than going for goal was a bit lame too I thought. Seemed to reflect his confidence.

That was WAY too hard and a 50 every day of the week. Very poor.

Had a mare. Boneheaded 50ā€™s gave them a leg up & the HTB/goal in the last was lame & pivotal. Was well beaten all night, so needs to regroup, put this one behind him & bounce back next week!

I maintain the 50 to Caminiti in the first was a shocking decision by the umpire. If that was given then Redman should have been given 50 in the third when the ball was (half) tossed back to him and not on the full.

AFL can't bake it's cake and not eat it. This is why so many supporters are frustrated with the AFL and the umpiring

I assume he towelled his opponent because Melbourne were pus, but wanted to say performance aside I appreciated his sportsmanship when Spargo concussed himself. Was making more of an effort to check on him than anyone else (his teammates included).

Was shocked the trainers didnā€™t get out to him. Good to see Redmanā€™s concern.

I did notice this and do like seeing that sort of sportsmanship in the game. That being said itā€™s pretty clear that Kosi, Spargo, Fritsch love to get too cute and drop the knees, lift the shoulders or go in with their head to elicit a free kick and all three got found out for it yesterday when the physicality and two way work rate was needed.
