This is poor irrespective of the wicket, Johnson and Siddle have no idea how to apply pressure. so important on a flat wicket. You can have one of those guys blasting them but not 2. They cost us big time in England and can't even get a West Indies tail end out. One must go and to me it's Siddle. If you can't as a team and bowl with constant pressure, don't play. South African tour tricked us all.

What's the bet it's Boilinger they drop for Hilfenhaus .

Windies got about 100 more than they should have. Doesn't say much about our bowlers when they can't knock over a no.11. Having said that, Rampaul probably should be higher up the order.

Bad luck for Nash too, deserved a 100 after that effort.

From what I've seen on this board, I notice far more of the opposite opinion tbh.

Sids is a legend, Sids is a star, Sids is the best young cricketer in the world, Sids is way better than Johnson and Hilfenhaus etc etc.

Maybe the people who are saying he's no good are inclined to say it more often because of that?

What a ridiculous reason! It doesn't matter how many times he has brought it up, on this occasion he has chosen a completely appropriate time to make the call; bagging him for making that call is ignoring the problem, and counterproductive. You're killing the discussion.

Siddle will be under pressure barring an exceptional second innings bowling performance and so he should be. At this stage he should make way for Hilfenhaus.

sids did well in previous games but didn't seem up to par this time at least in terms of stats. inability to knock over the tail is becoming an all-too often occurrence. i didn't have a chance to see the last partnership... did they forget about yorkers all over again? how many bouncers?

it's nervously exciting with watto opening, never know how he's going to go.

I'm not sure if anyone watched the Ashes but Siddle and the other fast bowlers were excellent what let us down was the batting was poor when we needed somone to stay in and make a big score.I'm sick and tired of people bagging Siddle when Johnson was worse. Hopefully sids grabs five wickets and shoves it up all you muppets.

Is it any wonder why there is no interest in this test? This pitch is a disgrace. I will say it again, fans don't want roads. They want competitive cricket, give the bowlers something curators!
