He was never going to be dropped even with his poor form in domestic cricket. He performed for Aus in their last ODI series and it's not often a player will be dropped due to poor domestic form.

While D Hussey and White can hit Australia missed a chance of a super power play, two set batsman right on top.

Now they have to reset themselves, it still may come off but having two set batsman dominating is a top time for it while Hussey, White, Haddin and Hopes to belt out the close.
