the modern day ones made with the plastic style protection are very light and very comfortableTrue but they wouldn't be the most comfortable or easy to run in even if the 'jogger' style. They are heavy, annoying and hurt your feet.
I remember Thommo at the 75 WC doing it to a poor SL batsman, pretty sure he broke his foot in fact.I can't recall last time one of our quicks broke somebody toe anyway still seems pretty rare injury at test level
Yep, it's more common it hits the instep. Flush on the toe is nastyI know - the actual resulting injury I mean is the misfortune. Guys get hit on the foot a dozen times a game and it usually just trickles away with no recourse. In this case it’s been precise enough to seemingly incapacitate the bloke for the rest of the game
What about the Henry the VIII solution....lol.Marie Antoinette Soiution would be better
Mark once lost the ball so badly he turned his back on it to then get hit in the back with it for Shane I believe to then get the reboundI don't recall Waugh dropping as many as Smith. Weird hey.
I think a couple broke their foot, while others wore it in the head.I remember Thommo at the 75 WC doing it to a poor SL batsman, pretty sure he broke his foot in fact.
Does it involve goutWhat about the Henry the VIII solution....lol.
I'm old enough to remember. Those accounts were very true. Ian Chappell was actually one of the best captains we ever had, arguably our greatestBy all accounts Thommo used to specialise in the old sandshoe crushers when he wasn't trying to take a bloke's head off.
Most of those accounts were from Ian Chappell though so you can take those accounts with a grain of salt.
Get them back on the field I sayLanger and Hayden together in the commentary booth. I don't think I can take any more. Mute button deployed.
Imagine if Warner joins the two of them... that would single handedly bring down Ch7Langer and Hayden together in the commentary booth. I don't think I can take any more. Mute button deployed.

Unique is a wordHow many great players * around with their technique like Smith? Geez he’s a unique character
