First time I've ever been barracking against the aussies in this situation. Would love to see the windies get a win (and an 8fer for Joseph) and also love to see us lose for our arrogance.

Who do you think will win from here
Aussies or Windies?
Until that moment, Australia based on two things:
Joseph must be nearing the end of his spell
Experience in close matches, Australia have played more close Tests in recent times then many West Indies players have total Tests

But Cummins getting out changes that a little. There's still the question of how long someone who possibly shouldn't be out there can keep coming in and bowling fast.

You just know someone will call in SEN (they have already actually) calling for JFM to be called up.

Somebody sent sen a text on Friday wanting Smith dropped for the review which saw him given out LBW in the first innings. The only problem with that is that the West Indies reviewed the decision, not Smith.

Exactly

The only two batsman that have played well are the two in new positions
Some elite fast bowling though, haven't seen a touring side challenge us like this since India 3 years ago. Obviously the conditions are very good for fast bowling, but still need to execute, which Joseph has been.

Smith didn't really need to protect Starc and Cummins. They're both capable batsmen.

Lyon and Hazelwood is now a different scenario. He needs to take most of the strike.

This would be a good loss for the Aussie team in my opinion. After a brilliant year of success, the last test of the summer reminds them that if you are not on top game all the time, then even the wooden spoon team can get you. Resets the arrogant meter ahead of a the tougher series coming up in NZ

To get Green back in you mean. Marsh has been great this summer. They were desperate to get green back in

No I mean to keep Marsh in, Marsh got his go as an injury replacement for Green.

Now we have a batting line up that resembles England in the mid 90s with an all rounder that doesn’t really bowl at 6, a genuine all rounder that probably won’t bowl as much because he’s batting at 4 and a seniority pick at the top of the order.

Ronnie Irani wouldn’t look out of place

Dude, even a broken clock is right twice a day, and you're lucky to even match that.

It’s called not being arrogant you are 64 not out how about you try and get another 20 odd. Easier getting them in the first innings
