He needs to hit the scoreboard for opposition players to give him the respect he deserves and take some pressure off Larkey..

100% But definitely worth persisting with, even if it means sending him to the VFL for a few weeks to kick some goals and get some confidence back with the instruction that it's not a statement of the coaching staff lacking belief in him, but a strategy to bring him back in better.

Kicked 2.3 and took 2 contested marks out of 5 total (4 of those inside fifty) on a day that we got absolutely pumped.

Just give him some time. It is starting to come together.

Effort and Intensity is always good. In time he’ll stick a few more of those contested marks….but it’ll count for nothing if his set shot goal kicking doesn’t improve significantly.

At least he is more physical than bloody Larkey.
